Sablenite is so much worse compared to last gen so I hope not, the new fairies and tapu fini especially aren't appreciated by him.

It was still really hard tho. Like I had tons of Potions/Revives, looked up teams and stuff, and really prepared my own movesets and still had a hard time.

I found with the pokemon box update, I got a female non Alolan Sandshrew and breed it with an Alolan male version and all of the babies are the alolan version which is strange since I thought it would default to the female type.

Maybe it is like Vivillon with the patterns.

All hatched eggs will default to Alolan form

To get a regular one you need to give the non-Alolan parent of that species an Everstone in the daycare

I really like some of the Alolan forms of Gen 1 Pokémon -- especially Alolan Ninetails & Alolan Muk. I also liked Palossand and Dewpider/Araquanid.

Wishiwashi was kinda cool at first but I ultimately found it to be very meh. Yungoos/Gumshoos were obnoxiously common throughout the game which is expected, but still really lame.

Anyone want a perfect IV blue Minior? I'm trying to breed a shiny and have bred like 4 perfect IV ones in the meantime. I also have a dew that are 5 perfect IVs with the 6th IV being 30.

Fair enough. Jolly/Sash is what I've seen people use, but Adamant is probably viable too?

Yeah I don't really follow proper competitive strategies, generally do my own thing and then wonder why I don't do that well but it's more enjoyable to me

Oof that's rough. That's about what it took to get my shiny Minior. Other mon (Pichu, Mimikyu so far) have had considerably better luck.
