Wanted to make use of the new Highlights feature (it's "meh" if you want to share them as .gifs, which I did for the purposes of easy-display on the forums here) and wanted to say how much I enjoy playing Xayah, so heeereee~
Spoiler:
EDIT: Actually, looking at the final .gif clean-ness (if not quality), I'd say it's better than "meh" so yay Rito!?

yeah. Like a SIVIR adc just steamrolled both KLED and ZED. It's honestly mindboggling.
My team may have been dying, but I was about... 28-30 of our 36 kills, I think? And I had 300+ cs. This was normals with some friends of mine. Edit: Just checked, and I was 26/4/5 with 336 cs. It was not a fair game.
To be honest, all I really wanted to say is basically none of my pentakills take much if any skill on my part.
So MSI starts tomorrow, for what that's worth. I'm glad they're adding a play-in stage with more minor league teams.
The finish may make a difference for worlds with the new changes to the worlds format. Like last year, the top 4 region finishers get a first seed in the group stage, but this time with worlds expanding to 24 teams and having a play-in stage, the best wild card region gets an automatic spot in the group stage, which even the #3 teams from EU, NA, LMS, and China don't get.
Still, I think it's providing the IWC more international exposure since they now get a chance to deny long-standing regions a 3rd seed at worlds instead of being relegated to only 1 team representing all of them at worlds for the most part.
It's basically Worlds Groups lite, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I think the new system is great if a bit complicated. It also gives a big reason you want to avoid being a 3 seed whereas before there wasn't a big difference between being a #3 and #2 seed.
That's true, but this makes that wild card part far more like the "main" part of the tournament. It'll be worth watching as the number three seeds from major regions are competing too. And some qualifier groups may have 2-3 major regions in it. Theoretically it's possible that some group might have China #3, EU #3 and NA #3, meaning at least one won't even make the Best of 5 qualifier series.
And then the Best of 5 is very likely to have at least one set of major region vs. major region game.
I think Gigabyte Marines probably won't manage to get in the Top 4, but if they look as good as they did here, they'll probably get to at least the Best of 5 portion. But given they beat WE, there's still a chance they'll qualify. They need to beat TSM again though.
