A lot of my friends do but not me thanks to childhood friends ruining pokemon for me by bullying me when I enjoyed it.

Unfortunately I don't have an internet connection with my phone, so I can't play it

Apparently, this reminded everyone that they had a Pokémon Trainer Club account because the website couldn't log me in or reset my password.

When I gave up and used my Google account, it took me a good while of staring at the screen and trying to hit my preferred starter to no avail before giving up.

The servers crated last night under the strain; but things seem to be back up now. I'm lucky, my work has three item spawn points and they refresh every five minutes, sooo.

(Also if you live in a big city, every single transit stop is a spawn)

I'm going hunting at lunch w/ some coworkers today. I'm almost level 5!

It isn't actually out yet here. :'(

It only does login-required during server instability. During off peak times it'll seamlessly log you in on launch at all times.

bleh. i caught a venonat but then the servers crashed and i didnt get to keep it :[

on the upside tho my workplace has TWO pokestops so that's awesome.

So when do I get to actually encounter wild pokemon? Because I've been checking everywhere I go all day, and all I can figure is that Pokemon Go has decided there are no pokemon within 10 miles of my house, which would seem to make the game very pointless.

They do show up in my nearby. They just never actually appear on my screen.

ok. i've never played pokemon before. i've installed this and gotten a few pokemon. What do I do with them? what is the point of this? what is the point of life?

I'm going to have to work out how much data I'm willing to buy for this, I think having no data in my phone plan (because i hardly ever use the phone in any case) and the walk around town yesterday to collect pokestops might have been a bit on the expensive side.

you're supposed to regret not getting into pokemon sooner because you can't appreciate how fkin awesome this is

my goal is to catch all the pokemon, beat all the gyms, and get all the medals
in that order and without spending money

i thought i was special for having two pokestop's at my work place but apparently people living in cities have like, 3 they can reach from their desk.

sigh. living rural sux sometimes :[
