There is an odd satisfaction in attacking masked runts that inadvertently caused me to faint against a Pukei Pukei.
Also, the canteen scene is probably one of the biggest highlights of the game for me, although I imagine it might get stale for people who visit it more often than I do.

Are you trying to grind it through optional quests or investigation quests? The latter is supposed to help you farm full armor/weapon sets.

Also, don't forget to do the 'Lessons of the Wilds' (or w/e it's called, it has 8 Barnos things you gotta kill) Event Quest before it expires on the 8th for a special armor set for your Palico.

It took me like be 11 investigations earlier to get my electro sac so I guess I'll just keep grinding

Oh hey, I got this today. Didn't know it was part MMO. I think I enjoyed the game so far, but I'm not sure how far I can go as a solo player, and I hate playing games with random people.

I don't like playing with random people because I like to play RPGs slow and deliberate. My experience with MMOs means everyone runs through as fast as they can!
