Does anybody besides me and Zoraster (and UT when he’s not being a dog of the military) still play this?

Zor and I pretty much exclusively play FPP mode now. We do have another non-scummer we play with regularly when possible. Reck might rarely play if we can get a full squad.

Apparently everyone moved on to Fortnite. I asked a Fortnite player about this game and he couldn't stop laughing at me for even thinking this game is still relevant. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

fortnite is trash lmao there are battle royales that are arguably better than pubg but fortnite isnt one of them

Tick rates in PUBG are pretty good now. Not like pro csgo good but much much better. The desync problem isn’t gone but it can’t until people are on the same ping

Way more people play fortnite but it’s a f2p game that really targets a different feel. The new cod blackout will be a much more direct competitor to PUBG but how many people want to shell out sixty for a game that may not actually improve the experience?

Pubg runs awful for me the first time I run Erangel or Miramar for the session. It makes me not want to play a session at all.

Meanwhile, every kid with mommy's laptop can run fortnite. Epic Games has an advantage over Bluehole by being the creators of the engine they use.

I'm not sure if something happened in the last two patches or if installing Unreal Engine actually increases performance like the rumor says. Waiting on that Wackyjacky video to confirm.

I expect my return to pubg to be short lived. I screwed up my jump and late landed to Farm. Somebody was there, so I did all I could do which was prone in front of him and squirm away while he was confused. I went and got a revolver from the street, went back to the farm, made a lot of noise in the field, found the guy and proned in front of him again. He started following me around while I looted and tried giving me stuff.

The circle landed military base and we both dicked around too much to make it there in time, so I took the liberty of getting a boat for us. I got it stuck on land.

We started roaming the coastline and totally teamed some guy running at us in a UAZ. I started swimming up until my partner found me with a boat. We cruised to the island, and went I got off, I died. My pal seemed sad because he proned as he left the boat.
