I figured this genre is getting a lot of attention lately, and it probably deserves its own thread.
I currently play the mobile version (if you want to add me, OTZTI on the EU server), though both the league spinoff and Dota Underlords look very promising.
Underlords is basically the same as dota 2 autochess with slightly different heroes and a more interesting item system. It definitely seems like it was made with mobile in mind though instead of being a PC only game which seems weird for a Valve title.
The current mobile autochess is absolutely taking loads of my time. I kinda like how they did the season pass thing they added.

I do think TFT forced valves hand with how quick they had to release underlords though since they were about to not be the only autochess game in town.

Underlords is currently in closed beta i think only for TI battle pass owners.
Is the TFT rollout just anyone can signup and how would someone who doesnt play lol go about doing that if they were interested?

Ooh maybe im wrong it looks like maybe it just moved into open beta.
yeah like 18 hours ago or something i think so when that graph started spiking, that makes sense, games should be a lot faster to find now.

TFT releases on the 26th publicly for anyone to play, and currently TFT is on the PBE server which is open beta if you are eligible to have a PBE acc (so you kinda have to play league to get into the PBE)
If you don’t play league, just wait till the 26th to play it.
Its not worth the hassle to get into the PBE just to play it.
I have a league account from the closed beta to season 1 days of league. Would that get me access or would I have had to sign up for it specifically?

Is there a beginner's guide on how to get started? I don't want to just jump in and suck, especially given that it's a dota derivative game, that's exactly how you get everyone else raging at you
