Gimme your decks, your draft strats, and answer the questions of why all the most obnoxious champions got turned in to control pieces? and why the best deck in format doesn't have any champions at all?

Bonus round: Why was Shurima completely ignored?

I pick Zed and a Demacian and draft all Demacia cards and exchange one or both of the cards Zed came with for Demacian cards.

Apparently single region decks are best in expedition.

I have seen a lot of Ionia and Demacia deep in runs so that checks out. Elusive and Elites are strong for both drafting and constructed. I've just started playing ranked with hard control. Freljord/Shivering Isles.

Managed to outlast some other control decks. Beat a Karma based free minions deck. Was getting multiple free forwards a turn, ended up unable to break my huge Braum and death triggers and milled themselves out passively.

I think Ionia shows up deep in runs because all the players are really bad and Ionia is hard to mess up. It has very few cards that look good but are actually bad. I think Freljord is stronger but it has some bad cards you need to make sure not to put in your deck, mostly from the enrage theme and cloning project theme.
Ionia is probably third though.

Not keen on warmother. You lose to other control decks. Bc if you are in Ionia you miss out on the win conditions in SI, and if you are in SI you lose the option to win by deckout to win the mirror.

I have been crushing other control decks. Anivia/Tryn is just so strong late

Anivia Tryn means I set up to kill you with Ruination if you are Denying my Warmothers

They both revive with a ruin and your board doesnt, so

I dunno, I really do not think Warmother is as bad as you think it is

Ruination is ok. I have all my shadow isles stuff that comes back. Like you can't remove my Rhasa or whatever their name is. I don't play Ionia.

Are you playing the Undying deck?

because I run copies of a card that blanks you in She That Wanders. Obliterate is a mechanic that does not trigger Last Breath.

Similarly, I have been considering running some cheap freeze stuff to handle the 8/6 that halves my life total. If I make it a 0/6 and play She That Wanders it does not go back to your hand.

I think the game I Ran into She That Wanders is the game I stopped playing my Undying deck and actually netdecked something

It hurts so bad. Every time I do that to someone they take a moment to read the card realize why they do not get their cards back and immediately concede.

Lol

Espeonage I have played against this deck a whole bunch (or some variant of it and its numbers) and have found myself consistently out lategaming my opponent because I just have more threats and more answers.

That said, Why do you run Braum in this deck? And the build seems a bit confused honestly. One of Grasp? 1 of Cursed keeper? 3 of Rimfang when your only freeze effect is a minion(and thus slow play?)

and then running Take Heart? This feels like a midgame deck with a singleton Ledros finisher but you have so many X-1s that Take Heart is weird...

I dunno, are you missing cards Espeon? Is there somehting you WANt to do but lack cards?

Uhhh I have more freeze than that, and rimfang is just for challenge. And no this is the deck in full. A lot is for a good curve so I don't draw dead against evasive.
