Never got good at fighters and it's time to try again. Picked up the Street Fighter 30th anniversary collectors edition which has basically every game through 3. Hopefully this thread will be full of gloating soon.
You'd think at some point they'd have cleaned it up and made all those CPU characters playable though. I mean there's five versions of 2 alone on this disc.
Wow I made it to Sagat spamming hadokens and shoryukens (tatsumaki senpukyaku worked instead for Adon and was working on Sagat if it was just more consistent) but I do not feel good about it. It's difficult to input the specials in this one and it's a mess of button mashing trying to pull off any of them. Checked though and they're much easier in 2 so that'll be fun when I move on.

Okay hadokens are great. Any of the specials really will finish an opponent in two or three hits. Adon though is very aggressive and keeps cornering me and just beating my ass. Worked pretty well on the first eight though.

I landed so many shoryukens today. Still nowhere near consistently though. That motion is kind of a pain particularly being generally forward tending while also being something I'd usually like to block while inputting since it's for guys in your face. And that input really is terribly strict but not so bad as I thought that first day. If I can just get that one move down I'm sure I can at least beat Adon.
Yooooo I landed three back to back shoryukens on Adon and finished him off in the next round with another one. That being said Sagat is a goddamn monster! That music is catchy though.
That is to say, this is next, I did not by any means do it tonight. I still struggle to pass Lee consistently. Way better today with those shoryukens though!
Two times tonight I've gotten a simultaneous ko on Sagat in the third round. That goes to the computer. In other news you can kinda spam hadokens if he's backing away, he actually only blocks them when he's approaching you.
This game really feels like a crapshoot sometimes so idk about no continues but I'll keep practicing for now.
