To answer your original question, none of the Cook PM should be redacted on flip except mentions of words like Captain which ideally shouldn't be there at all

I am about to rand the game but can probably help with subtly tweaking the PMs to avoid saying "Captain" once I'm done with that. But yeah I do not want T-Bone to make me walk the plank and I think it is imperative that the word "Captain" is not in any role PMs that are not the Captain role pm

I thought of another thing. If we leave the town roles unredacted, when the Captain dies everyone will know their 'informed' thing that there is at least 1 roleblocking role in the game. Granted, this isn't that important, but still.

I think it's not gamechanging and this is the version the reviewers approved, so I think we should keep it this way. The 1-Hit stuff half implies a roleblocker anyway

I lean towards Isis's position. I think that you have to be careful to apply it in the right contexts, but it's completely plausible that for someone out there it is a useful tool that improves read accuracy.

I also like the way Frog approaches the game psychologically.

I completely agree that general scumtells exist (lurking, lol). The reverse claim, that scum players on MS perfectly reproduce the distribution of town behaviour on MS, is a very strong claim when you think about it.

If Elements is scum, it's highly likely she's a rolecop or vanilla cop of some kind. The best fakeclaims are the ones that are still mostly true. In this case, Elements never really had an opportunity to lie without it immediately blowing up in their face, so there's no real need to doubt the result if you're on the receiving end and it checks out.

You could sense it. There was a dangerous tension among the Crew, usually so jovial and unified. Ever since the First Mate died of scurvy. They'd had such a way with the sailors. You could tell that some were planning mutiny. The time for talking was over. You studied your old pistol. You'd known it would come it in handy, and not just for naval battles. Someone was going to get smoked.

I was thinking punish initiators - if it's 3 days and 3 nights of nothing (or 3 nights and 3 days), whoever started the deadlock has to take action.

But yeah we never stated this lol - I figured it probably won't happen

Yeah that seems reasonable to me, let's go with that

One possible issue is if Mala is the last scum member left standing AND the game enters a no kill - no elim cycle
We can't force Mala to kill, so if anyone we'd have to force the town to kill, but that might confirm to the town that something weird is afoot
So maybe a better ruling after all is that after 3+3 no death the game ends in a draw, what do you think?

More info:
The Cook is a traitor. The scumteam know who the Cook is, but the Cook doesn't know who the rest of the scumteam are. The Cook has a 1-shot poison action that kills someone at the end of the following day.
The Boatswain is a role that can successfully redirect the Black Spot once. They are not informed whether the redirection is successful, so must keep resubmitting their action.

On Night 2, I accidentally gave Enchant an investigation result for ActionDan instead of Gimli. Sorry. After consulting with the listmods, I gave Enchant the correct result.

The formatting of Enchant's flip was messed up compared to the other flips as I neglected to update the formatting of the flip before furtive used it. All the text was correct.
