At the end of each phase up to n5, seven players will be added to a PT for the night. That PT is called The Nightmare. Players must vote on who to give a 1-shot ability to. If they cannot reach a consensus, nobody will get an ability, and the ability is lost forever. The possible abilities are:

- cop
- tracker
- vigilante
- roleblocker
- friendly neighbor (can only go to town. will fail if it doesn't go to town.)

Initial questions:

The 'alt-wincon' of the Liminal Space Designer is having every living player in their hood. What's their main win con? Or is this it? Also, what happens to Sidekicks when the LSD dies?

The Nightmare is confusing me. You say that 7 players are added each night up to N5 - by you, or by whom? And how does that interact with the Faceless Jury's 2-shot adding?

Falsely Prophetic Fridge seems like a bastard role, will you be adding a notice about bastard mechanics? Will you make it public that this is a Role Madness game?

What are the win conditions of Town/Mafia (do they need the Liminal Space Designer to die?)

What does the Magical Mystical Table do?

Main win-condition for LSD is to be the last player standing, or be in a situation where it’s impossible to prevent them from standing still.

The Sidekick remains alive, and I’m thinking about making them have a factional kill, akin to SKs, and have the neighborizer be the LSD’s main role.

Players publicly vote on who to add, and by end of day whoever has the most votes gets added, unless the Faceless Jury forcibly adds someone, which would be revealed as soon as they do so. They submit via PM, but I’d post someone forcibly added X to the Nightmare.

I will disclose there are bastard roles in play, and confirm your role and alignment is always truthful, but results/other mod confirmation can be a lie. LSD is also a bastard role since it’ll turn someone into being aligned w/ them, making them effectively a weaker cult.

Town wins if all scum, (including LSD), are dead.
Mafia wins if they have parity with town, and all threats are dead (including LSD), or if it’s impossible to prevent this.
LSD wins by being the last alive, or alternative win-con. All mentees win with the LSD if they win in any method.

Mystical Magical Table is supposed to be the single VT in the game, and I forgot to add that after renaming them from just “Vanilla” but I could make them a visitor or something and I don’t think it’d change too much.

Flavor cop is arguably stronger in my mind as well than role cop, especially if the role it returns is the actual name.

The flavor for Liminal Space Designer as well is: "I had a dream once that someone was able to design a room between reality. They asked me to join them, and told me one way or another I'd join them. Everyone would join them, or else they'd perish. I still think about that man hidden between the folds of reality. I wonder if he's still waiting for me to give him my answer."

^ A flavor cop would get exactly this in return.

A role cop that returns the role name would get "Liminal Space Designer" but if we're going off functional name, not flavor name, it'd return "Bulletproof Neighborizor 2-Shot Mentor"

- I think it seems fun, but I might be biased as I generally enjoy games with interesting mech.
- I think the initial 12:4:1 ratio feels all right to me but based of my experience, it can be swingy. So it depends on how well the game is played, for the game end before N4.
- Mentor seems fun to me but it could be swingy.
- Nightmare seems fun and it would probably be interesting to watch it pan out.
- I think flavour cop is useful, though weaker than Role Cop.

I don’t mind the swing that much, I’m more worried about the amount of possible kills and not enough protections against kills, but does that seem worthwhile to try to go for? I more so don’t want there to be like five vigi shots n2 and town’s suddenly in elo.

1) godfather is bulletproof. In the event of LSD v SEF, LSD wins.
2) vengeful gets kill regardless of how they die.
3) Give Shadow Man the choice of cop, or tracker-traffic analyst? Giving them all three feels really strong.

Is the one-shot bloodhound ok in your opinion, or with a normal inventor it should be changed?

I think one-shot is fine

'Normal' Inventor seems complex to mod if the player is creative with it. If you disallow their suggestion, for instance, are they refunded that night? Normal actions might be open to interpretation.

I’m gonna rule it as “anything you could reasonably find in a normal game is ok” which limits it to being roughly one action and one modifier, which should be ok.

If they submit an invalid action, (i.e., something non-normal), I’ll inform them that this action isn’t normal and will be rejected. If they don’t correct it, they don’t submit anything.)

- I had a dream that one of my friends just suddenly turned into a demon. I was mid-conversation with them, and then they turned into a demon and started critiquing all my stories for their lore, and how inconsistent they were. It was honestly kinda rude.
Abandoned Mall:
- I had a dream once that I was stuck inside this place. I couldn't escape nor do anything to get out. It's always been a weird place to return to, and think about. Do you think it wants me stuck there?

Faceless Jury:
- I had a dream once that I was on trial for something. I forgot what it was, but nobody there had a face. They were like mannequins, and the power they had was uncanny. The second I said something wrong, they'd chain me to the spot and make me do something. I didn't like that dream.
Nightmare Runner:
- I had a nightmare once that I was forced to play SAW in an abandoned mall, that was stylized like Code Lyoko. I kept running and running, but I could never escape the nightmare, until I fell into the abyss and died.
Beacon:
- I had a dream once that you were with me, my sweet, pure boy. That we got to live happily together. I miss you. Please come back to me, I miss you.
Voidfiends:
- I had a dream once that there were two guardians of some old fortress leading to hell. They were linked together in some intrinsic manner. I couldn't tell you how, but they both had some secret ability to them.
Lost Dragon Corpse:
- I had a dream once that there was the corpse of a great beast, and it served as a graveyard of souls. You could freely communicate with them, and they could communicate with you, but someone had to be willing to be the conduit. I was that conduit.
Biblically Accurate Angel:

No, Mentor can only have one living mentee at a time, and if they have a living mentee, they get access to a kill. If they don't have a mentee, they can't kill anyone.

Only change is that Gary Oak is now publicly known to be hated, and the hated vote is "Korina." I also explicitly confirmed to the IC that I will reveal their role and alignment, which means if they are culted, they will publicly reveal as cult instead.

None of the roles include the phrasing of "Assuming no interference" for the most part, since I feel like that's pretty standard.
