I'll go ahead and claim. Each night I'm able to get the mod to post an anonymous message at the start of the next day.
So basically, if you've got a role that gives info, we're able to give that info without outing it came from you. And with scum out of the neighbourhood (in theory) that becomes much more effective.

Did Firebringer really process that I'd just revealed a neighbourhood, have the thought that I was outguessing the mod on it, and type up that post in less than two minutes? ...Maybe? But it'd be a lot quicker and easier if Firebringer was already aware of why I probably scumleaned Lycan.

I seem to be widely townread and as much as people wanted to speculate about 2 scum in the 3 person neighbourhood I suspect no one believes that is happening here in practice
