For the sake of some things, people should consider telling me if their role is non-standard and/or stronger/weaker than the base normal variant of their role for funding considerations.

Basically, don't tell me all the mechanics of your role, but the standard of "Cop" is "target one player, receive their alignment" right?

So letting me know if your ability is better, worse or the equal to that gives me an idea on funding.

the 130 is for the WIFOM of funding a role that can protect a doc so if scum is in here they know that's a possibility; It's also a number ABOVE my actual funding requirement just fyi but not egregiously so.

The base power of my other non uberdoc abilities (its really good) depends where in the game we are at. Always good though.

I am saying explicitly that the base treasurer mechanic works differently than I would expect it to, it's very weird.

Scum abilities would be, I dunno, labelled as scum abilities somehow and I wouldn't be in here talking about them.

Also, everyone should read the rules about funding. Percent Funding = Percent chance to succeed.

So with Enchant at 110, if I fund 70 dollars there, it's a 77.7777 repeatnig chancce for the cop check to succeed.

I don't want to commit to funding anything because if there's scum in here they'll explicitly play around that.

However, I confirmed with the moderator that once I fund, the roles I've funded will be informed, so there won't be any mistaking my intent.

I just don't want to commit to funding a cop check, and then have scum shoot you, as an example.

So if a 99 dollar fund goes to a 100 dollar ability we roll a d100 and it rolls 100signifying a fail, it gets consumed either way?

But if it rolls 1-99 it happens and is consumed.

So no matter what as long as the plauer chooses to use it it's consumed?
