Roles

These are the roles you will campaign and vote for every election phase. If information is not listed about the role it is private information and the same rules apply to it that would apply to any other mod communication (i.e. don't quote your role PMs)

Treasurer

Each elimination phase you must disperse town funds to the power roles.

Sherriff

Target a player to learn their alignment,

Mayor

Jack-of-all-trades with three abilities. You will not be shown abilities that have been used by your predecessor.

Council Member

Jack-of-all-trades with three abilities. You will not be shown abilities that have been used by your predecessor.

Trash Collector

Target a player and see who they targeted at night

Board Of Elections

You may submit a player and position to find out who they voted for the previous phase.

• You win the game when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is alive.

Mafia Abilities

• Each night the mafia may choose 1 of the following abilities to use: (each ability can only be used once)
  
  
  
  Wiretap:
  Learn who the target targets at night, as well as learn which ability they use.
  
  
  Sabotage the Treasurer:
  The treasurers budget is limited by 25% on this night.
  
  
  Rig the Election:
  Choose a Declared role. The Mafia gains 1 extra votes toward that role during the next election cycle.
  
  
  Slander the Candidate:
  Choose a player. If they are a candidate tomorrow they receive 2 less votes than they otherwise would have received.
  
  
  Inflate the Economy:
  Choose a role, during the night that role costs 2x its stated cost. This means that the efficacy of that role will be cut in half.

Also, shea, this isn't actually a semi open. A semi open is a setup that has all knowledge about potential setups public, but which setup is in use is secret. This is a closed smalltown.

Shea's wording on the JOATs leaves it ambiguous as to whether they recharge all shots when awarded or whether used shots are simply removed from the role PM.

also - like the only reason i ended up voting for you was because i thought the roles were hidden and that we needed someone in the pt to be able to report the role wins back to us X_X i am very smart LMAO

If only there were some mechanism for you to figure this out, like, say, the fact that the heading "current player roles" was in the opening post or the public announcement I made.

Answering a question: An election where no player receives a positive vote total will result in that election not having a winning candidate and the position not being filled.

Honestly it's kind of a lot of effort to try to go against the grain and put someone new up for elimination when there are already plenty of elims to already go for and I'm pretty sure trying to actually go out of my way to elim pooky is just unnecessary.

I'm going to tentatively submit this so we have something submitted since I assume we can change it later.

Wtf, Shea? Explicitly informing them by pm is pretty much the exact opposite of “they are unaware of the limit”

I don't really agree with that interpretation. GL was unaware of the limit when he set the budget, which is what I was saying.

FWIW I explicitly confirmed how this worked directly to LLD when I was asked

My response was:

The budget is set then the sabbo happens, treasurers and funded roles are then informed that they have been sabotaged and have less.

But if you feel aggrieved you can yell at me in the postgame.

The timing weirdness of the sabotage was not intended and it is intended to be used in the same general time frame as the other actions. Scum may not take an additional action tonight.
