fwiw i think ur PoE material but not "resolve this slot now" -> i have a really weird way of having a specific order that helps me get to the right answer the fastest and resolving your slot would for example, give me no info at all it'd be a "shrug i should have seen the small hints of towniness as town" or what have you

I need to poke at Mala some first, cuz she's coming out of the gate harder than I expect, and doing that at mastina just feels like a really easy person to pick as, no offense to her in any way, mastina is an acquired taste so she tends to rub people the wrong way regardless of alignment and is somebody people can just agree they'd rather vote her out regardless of alignment. That being said it could be her genuine read of the situation. It's just not the Mala I've seen often, or at all.

Ydrasse is also possible. But she's somebody I can't figure out until there's a lot more posts. Cuz if it feels like she's just doing a bit with people most of the time, while also only doing surface level reads/reasonings that's probably scum!Ydrasse.

It's not that I've seen her claim mason before that I'm remembering, but rather I remember somebody saying at some point that mastina claims mason a lot and to never believe that. It might have been in a game we were both playing, but i'm not confident on that. It might even be the game Mala is talking about, i haven't looked yet. I think my mastina vibes are always gonna be off cuz I always have that one Reck video about mastinascum in the back of my memory when I read her, which is totally unfair to her but here we are.

You mentioned a modifier, but didn't elaborate on what it was. So like.. all we have to know is that you intend to give somebody here a fruit, and if they do in fact get it as you've said, then tada your role is confirmed if nothing else. Unless I'm missing something?

Since Day start there's not been as many people contributing as I was hoping to see, and I refuse to have a replay of Election where town just did fuckall and didn't show much caring about playing. But this may take a while, so not gonna make any promises in thread if I don't accomplish this.

He's a good kid, but just normal talking he gives off a funky vibe, so knowing that I should be able to tell if the vibes are just him being him or if they're actually something scummy. xofelf, the way you've been posting and playing at least feels like how you are as town, but over the last game-day or so I've had the increasing feeling that the times where you have appeared to miss stuff (like the talk about there being one VT) or the times where you've expressed non-comittal opinions (e.g the reaction to Ydrasse's thoughts on mastina, the read on DGB, the progression on Kowah) would also be very convenient if you were scum here. I don't know what will reassure me right now, necessarily, and the problem is I also know that you can be non-comittal as town as well, but that's where my head is at, at least.

Nah, that's like pretty fair. I've kinda been a bit disconnected in general lately, and my team has had a lot going on where there isn't nearly as much feedback as there was which hasn't really helped my engagement. Tbh, stuff I've missed, I've genuinely missed. I don't personally know a lot of mechanics shit, and I glaze over long blocks of text unless I'm specifically putting in the effort to process all of it. I wish I could point you to a bunch of scum games cuz I'm pretty sure I do read differently, but I just don't have that many on site. The only one I can point to that I'd qualify as me playing scum in a particular way would be the Survivormeet Invitational before it got scrapped for mod error. That being said, I don't know how much it's going to contrast to this game and the vast majority of games I've had. So, the best I can do is suggest you look at things through a more LSG lens. Like, you should know how I come across if I'm lying to you or purposefully playing you somehow. And the only thing I'm hiding is the specifics of my role, which for now, I'm only going to say that it's only helpful in very specific circumstances.

What I really want more so is a conversation, akin to the sort of planning that goes into plays around idols, and I'd like to have that with you. I've got a lot of time tomorrow after I wake up. Make an F2 with me and the roadmap to that particular FTC? Recreate Spitfly? I trust you and want to give you reasons to trust me, so help a girl-only-when-it's-funny out and let's build somethin.

Actually claiming the way I did was probably a bad idea, but if I was wrong and somebody was lying, I did want it out there that that specific role did actually exist. It made sense in my head, but maybe wasn't optimal.
