Hmmmm. I don't know about that. There's something funny about Ircher. We got a rolecop result on him night one, except it was Rat's role. I was leaning towards thinking a bus driver switched them, and if you got a result that he can communicate that further supports that theory because Rat has mason pt. Quite possibly that prophetic fridge got redirected too?
Now I'm glad I spent the day getting all this speculation out in mason PT.

Interesting. Though in that case I think ircher is still likely scum unless scum chose to redirect town to town
I was thinking town bus driver trying to protect Rat from a NK by directing it at a scummier target. Heck, maybe that why I died, I can't explain why I would be targeted with the NK over so many better options.

Does Python really think there's that many scum, though? I think there's most likely one Mafia and their traitor plus the liminal space with maybe one recruit from last night. Python has been giving me all sorts of weird vibes this game, they clearly not mafia but I'm worried they're the cult leader.

And it's usable on more than one person???
WTF is going on?!?
Maybe Abnegation is the cult leader and she's recruitable by the masons and after that happens one of them dies and the other aligns with cult and she'd recruited Dragoneater to it too?!?!?

I guess this- whatever it is- would explain why my mason PT access got cut rather than just not allowing me to post anymore. I thought Korina just modded that way, or was afraid of the increased risk of PT slips from being in multiple PTs.

Ironically, that thought about being able to recruit the wrong traitor or there being some sort of trap in it DID occur to me. But Abnegation clearly knew our identities from the get-go so I set that worry aside. I thought scum might be informed that we existed, but certainly not who got the roles.

I honestly have no damn clue what is going on. If Abnegation was some sort of double traitor then she'd be aligned with Mafia. But she must have some sort of ability to recruit too, for them to be going on with lies like this with Rat still around to rebut them. Did Mafia get the ability to recruit a mason this game if the traitor gets into the masonry? That'd explain why I died, to show that the masons are real.

I can confirm this since it doesn't actually effect anything game-wise: You lose PT access when dying because of the potential for living-dead interactions.
Yeah, exactly. If your factional PT might not actually be your factional PT anymore, that's kind of a big issue if you could get the chance to communicate that back to the living players.

If Ircher protected Rat's alignment from changing N2, that would suggest that perhaps the alignment change occurs as a result of being at parity with the traitor in the masonry after I died?
If it's actually a double-traitor role as part of Mafia it was pretty gutsy for Abnegation to blithely vote her partner KK to get the mason invention in the nightmare.
Maybe it's really just a 3P faction that somehow gets to take over the masonry?

It could very well be that Abnegation made up her rolecop on Ircher, though I'm really not sure why. Just to cause extra confusion implying that there's a redirector? I really feel like there being
four
Mafia plus a traitor who gets to recruit a mason to the Mafia if they get into the masonry is a biiiit much.

Yeah but that would mean the above scenario where Ircher and Dragoneater are Mafia and Abnegation is some crazy double traitor who backstabbed me and recruited Rat to the Mafia team so there's four left even though we've killed two.
I actually don't have any explanations for what is going on other than than that.

Yeah... that's why I'm going crazy here trying to figure out what's going on. There's still some chance of being able to communicate relevant information to the game. Although now that they've claimed, they must have some way to block Tweet from being able to use the action. And at first here I was thinking the way they were handling the massclaim wasn't very wise. Guess it works out for them now that they're scum.

I'm guessing scum's version of the falsely prophetic fridge this game is something that makes someone else's result public. CSF's in this case. Possibly because she targeted Ircher? I'm still not sure why Abnegation is bringing up the deflector if it's true and Ircher is scum with her. It's like they want to bus him in that case. But they don't need the towncred, they need to use their supposed conftown status to push townies as fast as possible before anyone catches on like by contacting the dead or worrying about how all these masons are somehow not getting nightkilled/maybe they're culted.

And it's even weirder for Ircher to claim Alarmist if they're bussing him because that being a lie seems more likely to make people suspect there isn't really a cult.
But he's got to be scum if there wasn't actually a redirect to Rat because of CSF's result. If he was some lone third party scum, the TA would be negative.
I guess I'll just have to chalk it up to differing tactics than I would likely use.

Ranger has to play chess with someone to try to make her doc unblockable. Python wanted to try to figure out how good people are at chess by playing against them to try to figure out if they could be the mystery chess player (who's probably scum).

I suppose we can always hope that someone realizes Dragoneater is not acting like a mason who was getting nightmare information from their partner. Acting like he didn't know why Ranger is a clear might be acceptable since it was just before his fake claim so he would still be 'playing dumb'. But claiming to investigate Kirigiri n1?!? When the masons bloody well knew she was getting the invention which would confirm her?!
Sigh. This game is really getting to me.

Remember, I can't roll scum so I never get to talk to anyone else about the game. So it was so nice to actually be able to unload my thoughts onto someone else.
AND THEN THEY GO TURN EVIL ON ME
What's worse, they apparently chose me as the one to get shot to take over the masonry even though that was obviously a weird as hell shot and Rat would've made much more sense to NK. Guess they could've been concerned that a protective would save Rat, but still.

Dragoneater, Abnegation, and Rat are all obviously aligned at this point because the latter two would have to have completely lost their minds to allow Dragoneater to fake claim mason. In a game everyone expects to have cult, no less.
I'm kinda appalled to see there's actually cult on top of what's apparently a four person Mafia including a traitor who gets to recruit a mason?!?
I'd like to think the masons are now cult rather than Mafia but that means cult started with at least two members or can recruit multiple people at once; and also lucked out in recruiting the mason who didn't get shot even though they should've been a much more likely target.

Who the fuck even knows what is going on here. Somehow Python has clued in that Dragoneater faked being a mason, which is good, but doesn't explain anything about WHY ACTUAL MASONS WOULD SAY IT'S TRUE.
