Thoughts on Ircher's actual role? I agree the flavor implies he was recruited, but I think the actual role seems scummy. Which implies he was the last living scum, and Cult is all that's left

Technically the Backrooms wasn't the cult hood, but it WAS generated by cult. And it's REALLY weird to me that we have two of them.
But yeah, we have way more of both investigative AND protective claims than anticipated, so the idea of him baiting the kill is unlikely at this point. Especially not since he went and claimed Bomb in the thread anyway for........ some reason.

Indeed it would... and claiming Bomb in thread when he KNOWS getting shot is the goal sure doesn't look like baiting a kill to me.
I don't trust him, and I find it extremely unlikely that we have TWO Town Backrooms Neighborhoods now. I think the whole Marshall thing with KKFC is weird, but nonsensical as a lie, and I don't think he'd just sit on sheep if cult? It is of course POSSIBLE that he just culted both sheep and Ircher, and didn't claim it on Ircher for obvious reasons, but.
Between the two, I favor KKFC as Town.

Unless the game started with 2+ Cult the fact that KKFC/sheep/Abnegation/DragonEater are all claiming Backrooms makes me think the Backrooms flavor isn't related to Cult and makes me feel way better about KKFC/sheep since they'd have had to deliberately look at the past game, see the hood was called the Backrooms and then claim it as Cult.
Actually when did KKFC/sheep claim the PT's called the backrooms?
During massclaim KKFC said "Backrooms Designer" which is... very similar to "Liminal Space Designer" but distinct.

Because scum can't be in the masonry. It's a PT with guaranteed alignment, and it runs into the same issue as recruiting from a scumteam when the recruit can out all of their former partners.
Korina wouldn't answer directly about recruitment, but did say letting scum in a masonry would be beyond acceptable levels of bastard, and since they also said we wouldn't be told if recruitment DID happen, that implies they'd stay in the masonry as scum, which was proclaimed impossible.
So I think we're safe on that front, though there is still a possibility I'm misinterpreting the information.

If Ircher was originally Traitor, that means the scumteam only started with two members, since a Traitor would know the scumteam's identities and thus be disqualified from cult recruitment.

Last night, I had a dream that Radical Rat had a role that gave them access to a PT!

Just in case something was a one-shot, causing a false negative since Rautherdir wouldn't currently be able to do those things.
They're logically identical statements, if any of those actions were from them but 1-shot then they're able to do it on that day/night otherwise it wouldn't have gone through
If the question is "Is X able to do Y" then it requires they currently have the ability to do so. "Has X ever been able to do Y" covers expired abilities.

Korina has already established being a stickler for specific phrasing (See Kirigiri getting responses saying how "an invention" could be blocked, despite it being very clear she meant Nightmare Invention, which we know can't be blocked), so I'd rather not leave any ambiguity

If it comes down to it, I can move my vote back, though I'd only consider it a true clear for the Chess aspect. If all three of us move, Ranger's vote left behind would be enough to hammer.
