Welcome, petroleumjelly, killthestory, beeboy and sleepykrew! You are the mafia for this game. As in any myko game, the first 3 days you can get to know each other here, then the thread closes till the night.

Howdy, all! Disappointed to be mafia, but I will try.

First thought is that four scum in a 15-player game is excessive. As a mod I would default to three scum in a game of this size. We can therefore infer that the town has a fair bit of power to compensate for the numbers. Assuming there is never a blocked nightkill and no additional kills during the game besides our own, we need four mislynches to win and the town needs four correct lynches to win.

On the subject of roles, what all do we have to work with? I am a Mafia Goon.

Additionally, how did everybody answer the pre-role questions that "might" affect roles? There may be a pattern we can discern, and people might freely give information about how they answered those questions over the course of the game that we might be able to use. As a note: I would strongly suggest AGAINST asking anybody to give this information in-thread. But if somebody simply volunteers it, we might as well try to put it in perspective.

Killthestory, could you also give any insight to how the Soldier role works? I am wondering if all the Soldiers get the same name and then vote? Giving us two potential extra kills is very powerful. I wonder if maybe the Leader secretly gets to choose them? Hm.

I suspect Bulbazak is hinting at a power role that is "political" in nature. He is threatening players voting for him, saying he is a bad place to vote for the same reason SleepyKrew is a bad place to vote. SleepyKrew started the game with a reference to "political bribes." Then although Bulbazak started the game voting for SleepyKrew, he later unvoted and said SleepyKrew is Town because he "saw [SleepyKrew] at the convention" and then told SleepyKrew to "realize what I'm telling you... and get your political butt off me."

What strikes me as odd is this implies a role Bulbazak thinks would
also
be Town if that role existed twice in the game. Any thoughts? I am less familiar with roles used in games nowadays.

Well, that went about as poorly as it could have. Oh well. Onwards and upwards.

1.)
beeboy, have you been given the name of a player as you indicated your Soldier role would do? Does it give us any more information to work from?

2.)
SleepyKrew, what do you think of Bulbazak continually trying to "get through to you" (presumably about his role)? He seems to either think you have the same role as him or a complementary type of role that he thinks is Town. Do you think it is better to keep voting him or implicitly "get" what he is saying and leave him alone (which might solidify his 'Townread' on you)? I for one do not think it would be wise to act like you understand what he's getting at unless you actually do understand, but I could see running a bluff/gambit if that's how you would like to play it. For example, you could "get" what he was saying on Day Two and then if we later kill him and he flips some odd role name, we/you can create a role (or set of roles) for you to claim that fits in with Bulbazak's.

Hoping we actually get some discussion this time around... I prefer not to talk into the void.

I have no clue what he thinks he saw from me. I unvoted him though to potentially set up pretending I understood his hints. Right now I think if I'm pushed, I'll say I don't know what he saw but I townread him for it anyway. If I'm not pushed I'll just keep it ambiguous what I think.

I literally just talked about the fact that Bulbazak seems to have a power role (of a "political" nature), as he was threatening players voting for him and also seemed to think SleepyKrew in particular would understand that. Equinox seemed (for some reason) annoyed about elected Leader, so she may potentially have a power role although even she does we cannot kill her tonight.

Yarr.

I've been asked to execute BOTH bulbazak and ErrantParabola and I of course graciously consented. Maybe the leader had access to two executions because it didn't get used the first Day? Or hopefully some other one-time thing because 2 executions per day is going to be pretty nasty (although I don't know how many town soldiers are likely to be left; certainly no one was acting like it).

Nightkill: No one stands out as a particularly obvious kill. Maybe just implosion or lalaladucks? I'm okay with whatever, really.
Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!
