As a townie, you get too much into the mindset that everyone is with you, trying to solve the game, and then it turns into us vs them except it's just us vs that one guy and then he flips town but everyone pushed the wagon for the exact same reasons so you can't actually draw any alignment-related conclusions from it and that means it was just a waste.

I feel for Map, tbh. Been there, when you pretty much know there's nothing you can say.

He learned his lesson, though. If you see a crumb and the crumber is about to die, then either realize it's a town crumb and back down bring attention to it or whatever. Or just don't mention it if you think they're scum.

To be fair, not that common of a thing. PRs shouldn't be crumbing when they're about to die, they should be claiming. :p

Buses can sometimes stand out in the crowd as being a little different, though it's pretty hard to put your finger on why usually. A sudden reversal of opinion is the most obvious.

I still agree with what he's been saying in his defense: There is literally no reason a Scum player would have pointed that out today.
But imagine if he

had

pointed it out before the Skiddish lynch - everyone would have shouted PR HUNTING SCUM and lynched him anyway.

Disagree. Boring might be able to come with such an idea and it's good to keep in mind that a player might try this, but not every newbie will think of such a plan, or have the skill to pull it off, or they'll try a radically different tactic.

I always think of the worst case scenario which might be why I get scumread as Town slightly more often than I maybe should.

Skiddish would live but probably be RB'd (if an RB exists) or at least get the wrong target.

Who were you planning on jailing if you lived???
