Because Scarlet's move makes no sense unless there is some gain, and the setup is as of yet unknown to me.

But, why that specific role?

Only the tracker knows that there is no roleblocker so the skepticism of a roleblocker existing could point to a tracker trying to hunt for potential scum trying to fake-claim PRs.

Not wanting to discuss reads in twilight could be a sign that he didn't want to give away who he intended to track.

So basically I agree. Penguin is probably the tracker. We should be killing Penguin and it's best if you perform the kill.

I knew I was missing something, Scarlet's post made me reactionary.

Well if someone counterclaims then town has a 50/50 chance of survival.

This is actually marginally better than the 40% chance of hitting scum though and the scum would obv kill the PR if town guessed who the scum was.

Then again, I guess if you KNOW one of the 2 are scum then you'd take an extremely good look at both players posts.

Now that there is a tracker claim town has a 50/50 shot of nailing scum either way.

Either scum/town counterclaims and it's a choice between 2 people, or there are no counterclaims and there's a 50% shot of nailing 1 of the 2 scum out of 4 players.
