I agree, it's reprehensible, but, you should have lynched it DAYS ago. Mafia is a game of teamwork, those not working towards the benefit of the team are either scum or are anti-town enough that they should be lynched. It's that simple.

town's seem to lack confidence in an obvious read around MS

like, if it talks like scum, smells like scum, looks like scum, it's probably scum and if it's not you should just go ahead and lynch it anyway, but people LIKE to play scummy as town around here and it gets a pass and then doubt seeps in in the obvious cases

if you just treat the game as a team-based game and recognize that team-based games take civility and cooperation and a certain "attitude", then finding scum becomes MORE FUN

FWIW, this game is sufficiently town-sided that it's not totally inconceivable that scum would be explicitly given fakeclaims like backup IC, so I wouldn't call that in and of itself a super strong point.

Why I am town:

- I just rolled scum in like 2 of my last 3 games. -> odds are heavily against it mechanically.
- I caught Wis and outed Varsoon. -> did we forget that Bboy and dwelee happened? They go out of their way to explain how I outed the hood and was hunting with my role.
- I am not acting like my scum game. and even pie has admitted it. dont think, at least. the curse of self-meta and all. Self-meta is a bad practice for many reasons, but you are a poor neutral observer of yourself.
- I am putting in effort into this. Normally effort is something I save for school and the gym.
