I'm also surprised massive doesn't claim one of the following:
If I was black goo I'd claim one of these at day start to try and get any day actions on me, and just try to get myself to become a magnet for actions overall.
Teal Goo (town, survivor; super-rare; 4+ players): Anyone who targets you with an action will evolve to a new role.
Uranium (town, survivor; super-rare; 4+ players): Any player who targets you with an action will mutate into a new role.
Silver Goo (town, survivor; super-rare; 4+ players): Whenever another player targets you with an action, you become a perfect copy of that player.
Purple Goo (town, survivor; super-rare; 4+ players): Whenever someone targets you with an action, you switch roles with that player.
My Day 1 instincts are normally awful. I feel like I was 50/50 this time. It's an improvement at least.
I still think that Abbot thing was handled poorly, but oh well. It'll be a miracle if town wins. I felt like I was the only person who had even a glimmer of doubt about Guilty.
By the way, unstable clone has to be the coolest ability ever for a game no VTs. Oh, and I was pretty sure Hot Nurse was going to be town. Just as well I died because I would have totally vouched for Almost50 as he approached the gallows.
I tried to make the town really powerful, but you're right it's not looking good at this moment.
It's sad that both the Recruiter and the Black Goo were put to L-1 during day 1, but neither were made to claim. It's sad that the hot Nurse (mafia) is now a cpr doctor+doctor+Roleblocker now as well.

Huh. The role text specifies 'your cult' which would be invalid when town.
To compound matters, the 'turning into a random role every morning' would still be in java's role.
He wouldn't join the cult as he did not target a black goo, the ability auto-targeted itself.
