I’m not saying it was superior. Don’t get me wrong. It just made a lot more sense to ME. I’ve only played a handful of games here so my sample size is way too small to fairly judge. I know you and Chip are good players. Hell, honestly I’d say better than me. I just don’t understand your play style and logic. Maybe the games here are more complex than what I’m used too. Calling for more suspicious play style on your parts. To me there’s a lot of over thinking it going on here. But all the games I’ve played in there’s a ton of town players doing anti Town crap and they are never held accountable for it. That drives me nuts but there’s nothing that can be done about it unless everyone is willing to policy lynch players for awhile to make it stop.
There’s a lot of roles here I’m not used too so that probably has a lot to do with things and the logic behind solving it.
I learned to play at a site dedicated to American Football. It just had a really good forum structure and some guys started playing mafia there on the side so to speak. But it was a small group of about 50 or so players and most were aged 20-50. So the group was not nearly as diverse as this site. It was hellafun tho and there were some really good players there. I just have to adjust.
But from what I’ve seen so far I think being scum is easier here. And I prefer playing scum anyway. Just can’t wait to finally draw it and try it out.

This all the way. Some people even purposely play that way. I believe they should be policy lynched till they learn to actually play the game. For example, BBT when he occupied the slot. So what if he's town. It's horrible for mafia and people should not play like that because others are trying to play mafia. And so many hammers are treated like lolhammers. Like seriously ...
However, if you're regarding to the push for you to hard claim; I do believe that was the right play. So what if you were a PR; you could've been scum just buying time. Someone who blatantly softs should be held to claim imo

It's more that towns are becoming more dysfunctional, which is sadly also caused by me. I'm a bad player, not charismatic, and usually have horrible reads. (This game was kinda the exception (let's pretend my hard defense of Skitter never happened ok))
I enjoyed playing with you under my alt WhyMafia. You're charismatic imo. This game had some really strong characters like mulch and Tor, which would've drowned out anyone.
I have noticed that towns are dysfunctional quite often, but there are tactics to bring people together. Sometimes just laying everything on the table and being honest about the strength of reads brings town to work with you. Other times everyone wants to be the hero and people forget it's a team game.
