i'm kinda hesitant to start it with less than 7 of 9 confirmations for obvious reasons

I'm in an awkward position here right now, because I really do feel like Yellow Snow's comments are going to confuse new players, who I have witnessed multiple times thinking that first time players won't be given scum, or ICs will not be considered scum.

For the record here, since people will read post game, trying to both balance being an IC and playing the game itself is not really as easy, and I try to keep my IC posts separate from my game content posts. I do not know that I did a great job explaining that. I hope you all don't already hate me as the IC before the end of day 1.

I can also use this for personal notes for later. I like the immediate engagement by Blank's replacement, who's name I will never remember.

I also feel as if people in general want more explanation for early votes, for instance, someone seemed a bit taken aback that on page 2, I was at L-2, when really, I just didn't care. Actually if I reach L-1, I get to teach about claiming and when it's appropriate for my own explanation as to when I decide to do it. Roo's reaction to the question, though, which was pretty much just a newbie question seemed very defensive, which is why my vote is still there.

I'll find out if it's a tonal issue or just that I've correctly read someone early for a change by the time the game ends.

I may be the only IC to ever actually use this thread, but its so much easier to use this for comments and release it later than try to gather my thoughts after the fact.

I don't know that I like xwing White Knighting me, but I'm going to keep that quiet right now and remind myself by posting it here... And probably forgetting this tomorrow.

Since I almost posted this in game but decided that it was a bad idea midgame, the reason I am specifically engaging with Tall1s is that I do not want someone to glide on the "Lost new player" idea in this game.

Any information is more useful than nothing.

Plus people need to learn that being active is a great way to promote a town win.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this game is one where the IC is the N1 nightkill, which is interesting because I generally somehow get to LYLO as town.

And, good God, if I were posting these thoughts in thread, I would be my usual super high post count self, instead of elevated post count.

Its never a good sign when I read someone's name in a vote count and think "Who the hell is that?"

People are scared of my scum game since they don't know it sucks. I haven't trolled a single sucker yet.

I keep saying "Yeah, I'm going to read walls" and then it never happens, go figure.

I'm trying to get out my last few reads for them to follow if I'm the NK tonight. I don't think anyone is posting like a PR, really, so I feel if I do not die tonight its because I am way off base with my reads and will need to reevaluate.

I don't remember where it was, but I seem to recall Mathdino once saying a stalled wagon like this is probably scum indicative. I need to check his games to see where he said that for the reasoning, but if I can't find it, I do want to have the information here without any real backing.

In the event that YellowSnow flips town, I need to give the advice that he cannot wait so long to claim as VT if he's going to fight his lynch.

Definitely, today at about noon EST was not the best time to claim when he had been L-1 since Sunday afternoon. We weren't nearly far enough away from the deadline to expect that claiming the day of the deadline was a good idea.
