I don't think hard bussing is good with the end goal of getting me lynched. Once I take a town leader position especially.

If the kill goes through, there will be considerable pressure on Iconeum/Datisi.
I think my slot should push Persi and Icon primarily; the push will mostly be unsuccessful but will help clog up town and distract them - in the best case, leading them to hammer Icon/Datisi and have us look townier at the end of it.

We will claim that we should be obvtown by now to anyone who knows our meta well, such as Blake - and that read was unlikely to change because Blake has a high BoP on Nancy; wrongly townreading Nancy when Nancy's scum (given Nancy hyperposted) wouldn't happen. Certain Nancy tells - such as the rage towards Saudade's push simply doesn't come from scum!Nancy, who's relatively much calmer when wagoned as scum. My head (Auro) can easily pocket both heads of the hydra, evidenced by CoC and other prior games.

Persivul + Iconeum is our current solve.

Persivul manages to slide under the radar as scum: his scum philosophy is to simply look like he's sorting and coast when he's widely townread. He's asking solvey questions till post 570 - after which he ceases that, just maintaining a passive presence. He sits on two slots that that the rest of the game are likely to push. He acknowledges that it's a mechanically bad idea to lynch our slot, but does so anyway. Then Blake derails the wagon, and he "realizes" Liz is Nancy (which I think was obvious) and that somehow negates all his reasons for scumreading us.

Meanwhile, he's focused a bit on Icon is icky. He buckets Icon with Datisi, Blake and Aubrey in 585. He calls Icon "lean town" in 619. He says he could "vote Icon" in 896 when Blake says she wants to lynch one of Persi and Icon, and goes ahead to vote Icon in 901. Blake follows, and Persi has a sudden change of mind - making up a reason to move off Icon and on to Zeebu. This read progression is awkward, and is SvS indicative - it feels like he was distancing from Icon or bussing him, Icon told him it's a bad idea, and he tried to lead it somewhere else. Icon doesn't seem to say much about Persivul throughout the thread - feel free to look for any post where Icon looks like he's trying to sort Persivul.

The Blake night kill is advantageous to Persivul/Icon for an assortment of reasons. Blake doesn't have a BoP on reading Persi (she admits she can't read him in CoC1) and is likely to reverse her read on Persi later just like in CoC1 - so killing her while she calls him town legitimizes it. Blake's the largest threat to Icon. Blake was positioning herself to become a town leader, and would block a mislynch on our slot.

Saudade can functionally replace Persivul in our case for a large part of it; and his push on us was absolutely gross, but it does seem like Saudade has a tendency to make crappy tunnels as town as well. Saudade+Iconeum doesn't look like a team because of Saudade's willingness to vote Iconeum; if Icon had gotten to L-1 and Saudade refused to hammer that would be a blatant scumclaim when Icon flipped scum, so "promising" to hammer anyone who came to L-1 while simultaneously trying to drive Icon as the lynch rules out that combination. Blake as a night kill makes little sense if Saudade and not!Icon are scum; Blake didn't scumread Saudade for his scummy play, whereas Aubrey did - and as a claimed doctor, would have been a far better night kill from his perspective. This could also mean Aubrey is scum.

Saudade, you really don’t need to insult me and call me stupid. I could have reported you for that. In any case, I will use this as a reason for my posting a lot less. Now that Auro has joined us, I feel a lot better because I couldn’t get ahold of Volxen a lot of the time but Auro is much more accessible.
