So, what do you think? Should I prepare to make a fake claim or would bewildered vanilla townie go better in this gamestate? I haven't played NewD3 at all. I went on hiatus before it replaced 2D3. So I'll have to study the matrix a bit to figure out what to claim if that's the route I should go.
If I get blowback about voting Muh instead of self-preserving, I'm going to point out that we're at evens and can afford a no-elim, and avoid a mxlo (or whatever the cool kids call it).
This is a situation where town-me doesn't need to make the awful choice between self-hammering or hammering a strong town read.
I think there's a possibility that the JK protected safebet rather than blocked c4, just because no one has consistently gunned for my slot on day 2 that I noticed.

And I guess we should talk about strategy, too. I think I'm more likely to get elimed than you. If Mizzy pushes for mass claim should I claim the PR? lack of being dead will eventually lead to elim, no matter how much I'm able to step up from day 2.

If muh is JK he probably targets me between the two of us. Another consideration I have is that if you carry the kill but still get blocked, at least it's only you who's in trouble, whereas if that happened to me instead, we'd both be borked.
Tomorrow there will (hopefully) be 7 players left, which still isn't yet MeLo. So I say it would be safer to claim VT if town goes ahead with massclaiming.
Reading a few of your towngames, egis, I love your posting style. you post with effective brevity, and ramp up/down the oomph based on the general tone of the thread.
I hope we get to play more games together, but from what I see, you prefer mini normals and open setups. I mostly hold out for high flavor themes and whatever Fakegod's planning next.
