im a little more paranoid of Datisi than I'm letting on, i want him to feel me around in his pocket for a bit and see what happens

but i still definitely townread him, but just, watching him

especially some of his latest posts where he is still "scumreading me" but not pushing me at all anymore or seemingly disagreeing with what im saying, seems a little... fencesitty/pockety, "LOL we can still drive a miselim on IV tomorrow"

if i start to obvtown tomorrow when i start trying a bit more and he doesn't get second thoughts then i am going to seriously reconsider datisi, im genuinely okay with and townlean him scumreading the first half of my game, but even by now he should have at least a little bit of doubt, and if not now, then hopefully by tomorrow

similar ish for sircakez, but this slot actually feels like it wants to do stuff and isn't afraid to butt heads which is uh, different from the kind of more muted posting in Open 792 as multiball scum (some survivalism holding his posting back there)

baltar seems like he's doing stuff and some of his stuff is quite agreeable which is mildly town-indicative, but nothing really jumps out at me at all tbh which is also kind of scum-indicative, might need to reread this slot but this seems lower priority than casing MWB

i wouldn't be surprised if mwb was the only scum on here and that the remaining two scum are in:

DeasVail, Iconeum, SirCakez, Noraa, petapan

although the most likely scenario involves like, both DeasVail and Iconeum being scum since peta is scumreading MWB

so yeah, it's definitely possible im going wrong somewhere

i think regardless, i'd be kind of surprised if MWB isn't scum (i think he's like, 40%+ to be scum with 3/11 = 27% being the base rate), there are a lot of things pointing to them and there are 3 scum in this game

so next priority to iso them, get them eliminated, and save myself from the CW myself

actually, another thing i need to think about is,

maybe me claiming like, isn't at all bad? i haven't really thought about strategically how i should be playing this role yet, tbh, probably should've

maybe my plan should've been to obvtown this game, draw the NK and clear someone somehow by heavily softing some scummy slot like MWB and how i think they're scum, my flip would pseudo-clear them

but OTOH, maybe my current approach isn't bad if there is a v i g i l a n t e who could shoot me

i draw their kill hiding behind MWB, if he's scum then im immune, if he's town... eh didn't think that one through but maybe they'll guess i hid behind mwb given what ive said in thread?

and it's not too late to start obvtowning tomorrow

But anyway, for example, if i keep targeting scum, it's impossible for me to get nightkilled

if i publicly out my targets every night starting tomorrow, then

if i check town and i die, then that's a clear
if i check scum, im never dying

so scum will probably never kill me

but it might be better than getting killed on a later night

the other benefit to me claiming my role is like, if there's a tracker or watcher out there, they can see where ive gone

but then if there's a roleblocker, either of us could just get blocked

so maybe the point is, try to get the tracker on me WITHOUT claiming

hmmmmm, maybe this is what makes the N1 dynamic interesting where Im kind of scummy already
