i kind of agree with ABR that DV/Gamma are just scum

for it to be ico/dv/gamma, they like, literally all hard buddied each other when we came out with the solve and pocketed baltar

i think this game is a lesson for all 3 mis elims that like, don't just fucking write off people who are AtEing as "scum flailing", it's just BS

but whatever, none of that helps us win the game. we can still do this, maybe

scum probably (?) has a way to kill vpb (i.e. scum rolestopps partner who kills vpb?)

is the third scum ico or mwb? idk

gypyx it's 100% your fault for this wild setup where town keeps going "OMG TOO MUCH TOWN POWER ELIM THE PRS". 100%

definitely not town's fault for literally knowing that this setup is probably wild because it's you.

but no, im so bad im trolling, or im so out of the loop, wifom gambitting like crazy, defending obvscum, etc, etc

gives me some comfort that some of that is from scum but it's kind of hard to keep pushing it through when everyone just starts trying to discredit you

ty <3 the game is all about fun in the end right

yeah it's fun at times, but it's like, fun because i get pretty into the game and invested in winning and solving the puzzle, and trying to save clutch situations, idk, mixed feelings here, not sure how to describe it

also kind of wish i was around for the whole debate last night maybe i could've convinced abr to not hammer or helped talk one of them (?) into at least reconsidering (probably not tho, given how tunnelled they were), unfortunately the time zones just do not align

anyway, my hide is pretty useless today, i can't really think of a scenario where it should matter. probably behind DV or gamma

Yeah i get what you mean, having to play the clutch feels often better than playing regularely, when you still have a chance at least

it literally isn't your fault lol, especially if it was reviewed and okay'd

the fact that people can't change their default starting assumption to "Gypyx setup could have a lot of PRs" is inflexible and stubborn and they shouldn't be validated with you having to change your setup style especially when it does meet all the Normal guidelines

Idk, my opinion is that the setup should help players have fun? Do you think it met that requirement? Because i don't think it did

And what's easier to change though, the mind of players who are used to a specific type of normal since like 3 years or my style of setups?

i guess mafia is about fun? but it's also about coming up with all sorts of different puzzles that takes a lot of effort to make and review, etc I bet for literally just one playthrough (never made a setup so i wouldn't know)

part of the puzzle is understanding the parameters (Normal guidelines), understanding who made it (setup designer, so which sets of parameters the puzzle will lean towards, in your case probably more and wackier PRs, or at least that they are POSSIBLE), and readjusting your assumptions from that

it's not about what's easy, it's about what's right LOL

idk, this is just my opinion

Yeah, but this game is a proof that players are rarely willing to reconsider what's possible given the designer so...

But i think you're right yeah

re'iso'd MWB and mwb/dv/gamma makes more sense

they all claimed VT because they sensed a lot of town power and that they were just going to paranoia each other out

this narrative makes more sense than Ico/dv/gamma

mwb putting DV-Gamma as his first two in the claim order on D3 is a fucking lol

probably because they all agreed to claim VT on d3 and it looks better

also, there's probably some scum counter to every role

ascetic for me
mafia rolestopper for abr, baltar
maybe some ninja too

Start of d3 couple pages in

Every single town player need to come to a consensus

our goal is to townbloc each other, and if we can effectively do that, we have a serious shot of winning, otherwise we might be fucked

Scum’s goal is to prevent this from happening. Either by infiltrating our townblock, or causing enough paranoia to derail the solve

if scum sees town incorrectly forming a townbloc with some scums in there (eg dv not scum, petapan scum), then they don’t need to do JACKSHIT

if scum sees town correctly forming the townbloc and on the way, they need to fucking get their ass in gear to do whatever they can to disrupt the solve and instill paranoia, etc

I want to see if scum are doing JACKSHIT or if the thread is going to become a pure clusterfuck

Right now, it looks like gamma does not give a single FUCK and that worries the hell out of me

Time will tell and give more color here

if gamma gets his ass in gear and starts to wifom like crazy I will be more confident about the solve

If gamma keeps not giving a fuck and being in basic response mode, I will get more and more sus
