idek about balance tbh, im not sure this setup was played optimally yet but i will say:

i just like playing these type of vanilla-ish setups that have a small twist in a marathon format, the experience of "discovery" of these small optimizations on how to play the setup leading to unique scenarios and different ways of putting the puzzle together is an underrated pleasure that doesn't have as much value in a long-deadline format.
