Hey I mean, I don't think you can blame me at all for what happened in backroom.Papa Zito - "Your signature has been blanked...we remove signatures at a users request if said signature references them, or if it quotes from a thread in the Speakeasy, which is not allowed without permission of the poster"-

Alright, comments:
- Dissonant Consensus lived up to it's name...we lost because we didn't agree with each other! xD That said, we pretty much expected something like this and third place is pretty awesome.
- Props to jasonT in our game, he totally snowed me and I didn't listen to my teammates. I'm really pissed at Prozac's team and at CooLDoG for not seeing how obvious scum Captain Leela was...that slot was scummy pretty much the entire game and I honestly don't think they deserve to win Team Mafia (no offense intended, but Almost Normal was jasonT's win completely and the Captains got carried by the T-Bone/Reck scumteam after self-imploding D1 in Scummies). Maybe that's just reflective of the scoring system needing more tweaking.
- I imagine most other teams were more active internally, but I thought it was interesting that our team nearly managed a sweep (my fault :/) while basically playing four solo games. Yosarian2 and Battle Mage played their games 100% alone, and T-Bone and I only got occasional help near the beginning and end of our games. I'm not sure if we should have used our QT more aggressively, or if it was actually beneficial that we were less distracted by our QTs and more focused on our own games.
- Are we allowed to post our QTs now? I think it'd be interesting to see how everyone used them.
Notable quotes from ours:
MoS - "it was fairly obvious CD was playing to his town meta already in D1."
Benmage - "Hey MoS, also take a gander at Jason. Scumtingly-ness there."
MoS - "Benmage, I was scum with CD in another ongoing game (in which both of us are dead), and he doesn't feel quite the same here. I've also had way obvtown feelings from JasonT all game. :s"
derp. I really should have trusted my gut on CD, it was just the idiotic way that he handed LYLO + PoE once I had mistakenly cleared jasonT that made me fuck that one up. Bah... :/Permanent V/LA.-

I want to apologize to my team, I couldn't give "team Mafia " the justice it deserved... I was in too many ongoing games and became to busy irl to handle it all.
Glad we got bronze.
3! Scum. Sounds like 3 wins in my book. Sdc .... only beef with captains is the replacement thing... and leela specifically played real well.
Looking forward to putting fourth a better effort next year. Again sorry team."ITT Benmage is making Shakespeare look cool. I need to bring you to my high school." -Vi

Oh yay, my team won :D
I'm sorry I wasn't able to stay in the whole time, I was really losing motivation quite fast and I don't think I would have been very useful had I stayed in any longer. A huge thanks to Tammy for replacing in for me. Also congrats on winning the game too :D
I agree, our team wasn't exactly the best, [selfcentered]but everyone should be happy for winning for us and carrying us to victory.[/selfcentered] The point system could probably use some more work.“Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued.
If I only had the magic key that would unlock the realms to the plateau of the highest me.
Even though I’ve been badly bruised, living in a house to become a popular muse.”

That D1 lynch on you was really terribad and I was honestly trying to derail it.“Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued.

I thought it was terribad too. You can try to improve how you play but you're never going to improve how good other people are at reading you - that's their problem. I would post our QT but if I remember correctly, the majority of it is me and Katsuki yelling.Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.
My prefered pronoun set is "cie/cir/cirs[elf]" but they is more than acceptable.-

I like it when I improve how I play, by playing to my meta of the opposite alignment.
Basically, earlier today I won my first game as scum and I played pretty similarly to my normal townie self. I was really proud of that game.“Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued.
If I only had the magic key that would unlock the realms to the plateau of the highest me.

That's not really true? You can tweak your playstyle to allow for you to be easier to read to some degree. If you're being read incorrectly all the time as town you need to look at what you're doing and realise you should do something different.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

I genuinely don't know what it is. But I'm pretty sure it's nothing that effects me when scum, I think I sorted the lurking thing out. I'm going to try my hand at townhunting rather than scum hunting now though and see if that fixes it. Lack of confidence? Maybe, I think if you're confident in your reads people don't think you're lying about them and are therefore scum.Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.

Sure it is. And if you're getting lynched it kind of is useful, no?are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

Oh really? So how would you tweak your playstyle in order to avoid being lynched? Surely if it were that easy, all we'd be doing would be mislynching the occasional VI?-

Nah. Confidence helps your alignment but it doesn't make people you're a particular alignment imo. The problem in Team Mafia was the way you interacted with those you suspected, but that could be just a one off. I'd suggest just keep trying the 'more activity' thing for a while before making too many changes.are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

I never said it was easy to tweak successfully, it's certainly possible though. If you're getting lynched all the time you're doing something wrong, so you should either try do different things or stop playing. I think I managed to make myself a harder lynch by working on different things. Bit of a thread derail though, someone split it maybe?are you thinking of me when you're with somebody else?-

The main problem with my preferred way to play town is that if I go all-in on a fight with someone I tend to lose all my energy after it's over and I don't act as towny as I'd like to.“Leftover lady, let alone the strongest to be subdued.
