SMALL TOWN SALEM: A TOWN OF SALEM FLAVORED GAME OF MAFIA
Game Rules
General Rules/Game Etiquette
Obey all Site-wide Rules. I don’t know why you need to be told this, but you do. Got it? Good.
Talking outside of the thread ain’t allowed, unless there’s somehow 2 mafia, which there isn’t, so don’t do it. Don’t talk about this game with your mom or dad, your friend, your co-workers, your teacher or even your dog. I’ll throat-punch you if you do. (Throat-punch = Mod-kill).
Don’t quote private chats. This includes whatever I tell you, even if it’s fake, and you're doing it for your ego. Paraphrasing for a role-claim is fine.
Do not use flavor as an argument. The avatars attached are just simply for me to me to keep the theme of the game going. An avatar that has been associated with a role may or may not be attached to said role. Make a flavor argument, and I’ll throat-punch you. (This means that Sherlock Holmes (Investigator), may or may not be the Investigator. They could be what I used for the godfather because I'm a dick.
Activity/Prods (AKA: Paddling)/Replacements
Don’t post something productive in 24 hours, that’s a paddlin’.
If you get paddled and don’t reply within 24 hours of that paddlin’, I’ll search for someone to replace ya. You may re-join if nobody else wants your slot because it's scummy, or something.
If you are paddled 3 times, I may decide to randomly replace ya.
If you think you won’t be around to avoid getting paddled twice, tell me in PM or declare V/LA in thread.
If you’re requesting an extensively long V/LA, I may force-replace ya, because phuck you.
Deadlines
96/24 hour phases, (day/night).
If it’s an extreme circumstance, the day/night may be extended at my choice.
If you can do stuff at night, make sure I know it by the end of the night phase otherwise I’ll assume you slept in like the lazy bum you are.
Player Actions/Voting/Player Death
Simple majority of everyone alive has to agree to lynch one person by voting to lynch them. (½ # of living players +1, rounded down is majority). If you guys can’t agree on who to lynch by the end of day, nobody will be lynched.
Bold your votes or use the [.vote] tag, otherwise I won’t count it. (e.g.
Vote: Korina
or VOTE: Korina).
You don’t need to unvote before changing votes, however it’s nice.
No lynch is an option, majority is required for it.
Shorthand/abbreviations or nicknames are allowed for votes, make sure it’s obvious who you’re voting. Fake vote gambits should be done at your own risk. If I think it’s a vote, it’s a vote. Capiche?
Possible Roles/Info About Theme/Investigative Results
For the record: Scum are given fake-claims, Arsonist's douses do not change a player's investigative result.
The theme (if it wasn't obvious already) is Town of Salem. Vanilla in this game is the standard Town of Salem roles, (with no Coven expansion included).
Last Wills, Death-notes and whispers are allowed. Please title them accordingly to me. (IE: 787 Whisper/Last Will/Death Note. These were included otherwise one result is really town-sided. You may only whisper 3 people each day, and your LW/DN may not contain more than 1,000 characters. Whispers must also have the player you want to whisper in the subject line.
Executioner also now acts like a Lyncher, and once they win, they leave Town.
Vampires, Vampire Hunters and Forgers are not in play.

Side note: If you can write a double spaced, MLA format, 2 page essay on why I'm the best FM player ever, I will allow you to use #006768. I will actually read it, and if it's good enough, I will allow you to post in that color for any game I host from now on. You must also use citations.
Anything not explicitly covered is subject to my discretion and will be handed as what I think is fair on a case-by-case basis.
Special Mechanics: If you can guess the entire rolelist exactly by the end of d1 in a PM using a single guess, I will give you the win after the game is over, even if your faction loses. If you are a double-winner, you get nothing, except my applause. (This is also arguably bastard, and for our purposes, it will be counted as such. No other bastard mechanics exist).

Rolecards are coming out now. Game will start once Ari gives me the game number, (ffs Ari, give me it), and basically everyone confirms their slot. (3/5 to 5/5 required).

Anyways, it was a quiet day in Salem, the airplane. Because this is now an airplane. They woke up with their carry-on luggage underneath the seat in front of them or in an overhead bin. Their seat-belts were fastened and their seatbacks and folding trays were in their full upright position. They all unbuckled themselves, knowing one thing: You can't trust anyone. Not even yourself. You're somehow flying, that's black magic! They should build a bridge out of you!
It was silent, until someone shouted, "J'ACCUSE!"
The captain then came over the intercom saying, "If you have a gun, please leave it locked and take a complementary knife instead for murdering your friends! They will be available at night."
Day 1 Begins! It will end once majority is reached, or the timer expires.

Forgot to mention this in the OP, doing it now since I’m on mobile: If you can guess the exact rolelist by the end of d1, in 1 single guess, I will give you the win automatically, even if your faction loses. I will not say if you were right or wrong until you are dead/the game ends. Please PM me your guess if you want to take a shot. No consequnce for guessing wrong, unless you count me laughing at you, if you’re horribly wrong.
Edit: All possible roles are listed within the investigative results. Use common sense for some of them.

To clarify: I also said in the OP that the picture attached to the rolecard does not have to be for that exact role. Thematically, it'd make sense that if I took Sherlock Holmes (the investigator skin), that they'd be the investigator, but I could instead decide to use it for the Godfather.

EDIT: Yes, I know I just prodded myself. If it wasn't obvious, my hosting style/personality is very joke-y. I like making games of FM/Mafia where people just laugh because either the story is really stupid and doesn't make sense, or stupid shit like me prodding myself. Expect things like me prodding myself even though I'm the mod, and other similar humorous antics.

Pinturicchio is replacing Spegy. I have made sure their seatback and tray-table are in their full, upright and locked position.
There is a little bit over 1 day 22 hours left in D1. If no majority is reached by the end of the day, no one will be lynched.

You press it... nothing happens. Then, suddenly, the entire plane does a 180! Now the plane is somehow flying upside down, with no problems... weird...
Then, the Captain comes over the intercom:
NO YOU FOOL WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! YOU’VE DOOMED US ALL!
Then it hits you, the captain is a witch! You should see if they weigh as much as a duck, because ducks float, and wood also floats, and wood is flammable, and witches are made of wood, which is why witches burn! Everyone knows that. If they do weigh as much as a duck, you should build a bridge out of them!
Oh wait... if you kill the Captain, everyone dies... Probably shouldn’t do that... yea... bad idea.

Modnote: The story thing, (whatever it currently is), is the hidden mechanics aspect of this game. How it works, apart from normal discussion. These actions will have minor influences on the game, namely within the story. When I run this game again, I may have it feature more obvious influences, like night immunity and whatnot.
Oh well, you may resume.

Also, for sake of flavor/theme, the mafia's guns are replaced with knives. Likewise, any role that would normally use a gun, is now using a knife.
1) It'd be a hazard to the plan if we had a gun being fired.
2) It'd be really obvious who killed who if a gun was used.

Edit: OPs have been cleaned up a bit/edited around, it's nothing major. I just replaced the names of stuff with more fitting things.
Also, bonus fact: The vote count in the second post is actually one shade lighter than my mod-color. :^)

That day, everyone stared awkwardly at ZZZX as the plane flew. It was kinda creepy, let's all admit. I mean, staring at someone all day, and four people, plus a flight attendant... it's kinda awkward. Anyways, so, as the sun went down, the everyone quickly cornered ZZZX, forcing him to claim. He kept saying he was Giles Corey, a Citizen of Salem. The others, however, didn't believe him.
The Captain came over the intercom:
To lynch someone, please throw them out the side door, knives are accessible now.
Everyone knew what they had to do. Brassherald volunteered to be the one who would push him out. They quickly opened the door, and shoved ZZZX out of the plane. As he fell, he shouted back to them:
ZZZX Last Will wrote:Sun goes down
Brass goes down
They quickly checked his stuff, closing the door. After searching his stuff, there was only one conclusion as to what he was:

Sorry for early day start.
Anyways, story time!
The first thing that got all of you up was... a dog? No wait... dogs... many dogs... and cats? What is this? A zoo? (Yes, btw). You all wake up and see there’s a bunch of puppies! Awww, how cute! They seem to really like all of you, but namely Brass. Like, a lot.
In the back of the airplane, the knife case was broken, with one knife missing. This set all of you into a panic. “Who died?” you all wonder.
Then the captain comes over the intercom:
Attention all passengers, there appears to be a knife lodged in my chest. What? No, like, my wooden chest. Not my actual body. God no... Also, we present “depressing music and music that makes you want to die!”
Well, that solves that mystery...
Justin Bieber’s “Baby” also starts playing on the intercom.
GOD NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUU
No-one (but a wooden chest) was brutally murdered last night!
