Hi! I've been trying to get into this game for a long time. I signed up but missed signups and was sad. Too bad I didn't get a role designed for me.

Anyway, my role is not bad. But I need the heal on me. It will be very good for town.

I feel like there's something (unrelated to what I just said) fundamentally off about the thought process behind this post and I'm gonna need a little while to articulate it.

Perhaps healing me would have been more useful.

Doubt that a "heal" action would be given to scum, honestly... Otherwise they'd just heal their own teammate.

Yet, RadiantCowbells's role involved getting poisoned. A scum getting poisoned and automatically dying would be asinine and definitely unbalanced. It is entirely possible that RadiantCowbells as scum lied about the poison, however, to bait a "heal" action. However, if it is not a lie, then he is Town.

Unfortunately this line of reasoning doesn't help us much, as it boils down to "If RC is telling the truth, he's town; If he's lying, he's scum".

Now, with that said, with one of the most contentious slots being cleared as town, that leaves us to the question as to who is scum. I was pretty clearly townreading Supreme Caregivers yesterday, so I wasn't really surprised at the result. I just had to make sure, because otherwise there'd be no end to this nonsense today.

Anyway, wasn't expecting an SK in the game at all. This bring into question what kind of setup this is. The first thing that came to mind is 2 SK. 1 SK 2 Mafia sounds dumb, because we started with 9 players. 3 of them being scum, and multiball, means that:

Assuming a Day 1 mislynch, and crossfire (worst case scenario):

9 - 1 = 8 (Day mislynch)

8 - 2 = 6 (2 Town dead)

3 town, 2 mafia, 1 SK.

We could be at Lylo on Day 2. Now, that would be a ridiculous setup. Whoever coming up with that or approving that would be rather asinine.

So, it'd make more sense to be a 1 SK 1 SK setup. At the very least, on Day 2 it'd be

4 town, 1 SK, 1 SK. 6 players, 4 town to lynch.

This makes way more sense.

Now, I'd highly doubt that UCV would be given a scum role, I need to investigate further on this. Fissure/Mulchslot is still my top pick for scum, honestly speaking.

Therefore, I'll be sticking to this conclusion which I believe had not had reason or warrant to change, even with the new discovery:

I have a couple of things to say, but since RC asked me some very visible questions, let me answer them first:

1) Tracker is pretty useful, I don't see any contradiction here.
2) I'm a Night 1 Tracker. Not a 1-shot tracker, but worse, I can only use my ability Night 1. I have to blow it on night 1, that's all there is to it.

Now that Maki Harukawa is in this game and actually playing, instead of being the irrelevant AFK slots that they were before, I'm a lot more inclined to keep them as part of the town instead of part of RadiantCowbells's master plan to make all games challenging for Princess Kiana. Because, Maki is a pleasant presence, and a friend that I want to keep in this game, and it would be quite horrible to lynch them because obviously, I don't believe they are scum for a single second.

Now that the Purgatory game is over, I can totally reference that, and no doubt Maki has already done so. RadiantCowbells, if you are town here, do you actually totally feel no guilt for mislynching Maki Day 1 in that game? Because it appears to me that you're about to repeat the same thing here. It's not very pleasant for Maki.

Also, you're calling your Princess scum. I'm sure that attempting to mislynch your Princess is totally not something you should be doing. You tried to do the same thing in Purgatory too, but I wasn't having any of that any longer in that game.

I actually want to play with you, and for you to stay in the game and help us out, but it's absolutely unacceptable for you going around with such behavior, mislynching your Princess and your friend. You have:

- completely ignored my reads
- attempted to mislynch town
- attempted to mislynch me
- made your friends suffer mini-emotional breakdowns
- made your Princess cry

This is not acceptable behavior of a loyal subject. I expressly forbid you from pushing Maki or myself any further, if you are town, stop this behavior. I am not scum, and neither is Maki. Probably.

You are doing exactly to your Princess what you keep complaining about that you suffer in your towngame, such as having your reads ignored and being scumread for nonsensical reasons. This is not okay.

So, I am having enough of this, if you are town, you are to sheep your Princess's reads right now.

And that is to lynch UCV / Mulchslot. The game probably ends after these two flip.

That's not the right thing to do. I'm not sure why you can even consider that you were in the right that game, when I, who had no idea who anybody in the playerlist was, was able to determine Maki's alignment more accurately than you did. Do you realize that "getting town to die" when you are town is playing against your win condition? Having a streak of mislynching town as town doesn't prevent other players from scumreading you, it only destroys your credibility. This is problematic, because people will begin to scumread you more often instead, because your actions hurt town wincon -> help scum wincon, and you become indistinguishable from scum. Is this really what you want?

Your method of dealing with an inability of players to read you is counterproductive. Have you not realized that it's actually exacerbating the problem?

Now, I'm perfectly alright with you pushing and killing scum who push you for nonsensical reasons, but, if you are simply killing town as town, then that inaccuracy is detrimental not only to town, but also counterproductive to your overall goal of being useful when alive.

Now, I have to remind you about my point, the larger issue isn't about you being toxic, as and in which that it could be attributable to your playstyle. I've seen dozens more players who are orders of magnitude more uncouth than what you even remotely displayed. The problem comes when your playstyle actively hampers your ability to play well, and brings a hindrance not only to your team, but also makes them very unhappy.

My point is, the problem not you being toxic, it's that you have come to a point where in an attempt to play the alignment of town seriously by hurting other teammates, it's actually counterproductive because this instead has the negative overall effect of destroying your towngame.

For mountainous 7:2, the chances are 30% town 70% scum. Mods give town extra power roles to combat this, making it ideally 50% town 50% scum.

For mountainous 7:1:1, the chances are 52% Town, 24% SK, 24% SK. A setup such as this would be fair if the SKs somehow had buffs while the town had nerfs. You'd need a really strong SK role and mostly weak town roles. An individual SK's chance of winning would otherwise be ridiculously low.
In short, because you have an inno on Maki, and because RT is clearly not an amnesiac cop serial killer, the only person I could see being an SK based on the claims so far is actually you.

For mountainous 6:2:1, the chances are 35% Town, 54% Mafia, 11% SK. Give town a bunch of PRs and town and mafia are equalised. Make SK immune to most of the town PRs, and town is far more likely to fuck over the mafia than the SK. Consider that you're more likely to get a guilty on mafia than SK (plus NSG was ascetic, so you couldn't get a guilty on her at all).

I'm not claiming the setup is exactly 33-33-33. NSG was too weaksauce for that. But I think the setup is balanced around something like 40% Town 40% Mafia 20% SK.

What win probabilities would you deem fair for a town/mafia/SK setup?

Commend to Mathdino for correctly predicting 2 mafia + 1 SK, and successfully convincing me with it through the argument.

Sorry I had to replace out, did not want to play with RadiantCowbells who is generally toxic, mostly awful at the game, and perpetually abuses and harasses women (myself and Maki).

I also apologize for misreading my role PM, though. With that said, that shouldn't have affected the game and how you read my slot, because what I do with my night actions is none of your business. Gamma got lynched because he told the truth about my role PM, which was an awful reason to lynch him; though, I guess he should have known better, as punishing honesty appears to be the ways of the world.

I agree with the both of you, although in my credit I didn't mention anything about RC being malicious, rather, I believe that all the statements I had made about his behavior was true. He is extremely un-fun to play with.

Everyone else in this game has been splendid, including Mathdino (despite being scuMVP #2

), and I'd be happy to play with you all again.
