No but that's the thing. It was a bad point, and given the pace of the game and the players already willing to go after me, it was fanning a flame that shouldn't have been fanned in the first place.

I would've understood if you, for example, pressure-wagoned me (like Cheeky), or pressure-interrogated me for more info. But you floated an idea out there in an already unstable gamestate that would only add more noise.

Okay here's the situation as I see it.

If you are town being honest, I do not want you using the lie detector on me because I am never getting lynched this game. It's blowing an investigation on someone I already know is town and isn't going to get lynched with or without the investigation. There's a reason I've lynched cops for claiming innos on me and it's because you shouldn't be checking me when I'm obvtown. I value my town winrate, I don't want people fucking with that because they can't get over playing with me: if you can't get over playing with me then don't. I will always consider Maki a friend out of game but I don't have the option of both being nice in game and doing well in games and it hurts my soul more to be lynched every game than to be RC when the game demands it so I've chosen the latter. I'm not going to unchoose the latter so long as I am required to play this way in order to have people not lead basically policy lynches on me as this game can attest.

If you are town being dishonest, then it would in fact be optimal for me to do what you say but I would get absolutely zero towncred for not refusing to make those posts because I'm RC so why bother.

If you are scum, it's really bad for me to agree to the lie detector. If you're scum who is trying to drag me down with you to reduce the amount of mislynches your partner needs, it's very easy for you to fakeclaim a guilty on me and get me paranoia lynched. If you did this to anyone else in the townblock, you would be lynched instead, but shit paranoia of my slot means that no matter what I do town now only has 2/7 confirmed slots tomorrow.

If you're scum who was intending to fakeclaim an inno, then forcing a result on me is awful because it doesn't give town any information it didn't already have and it gives you free license to kill me and gives you towncred from the claim. There's a thing that you do when you play with me where you don't play with me. You don't pay any attention to my reads, you don't try to work with me, you largely don't try to push me. You slot me in a nullscum box and leave me there and play the game accordingly. That works fine a decent subset of the time and is one of the less cancerous ways to deal with me: but. It's striking that in every game we play you end up wanting me lynched before endgame. Like the recent turbo or what not. And I understand why in this game it's easy to say oh RC is scum because everyone has been towny- and I agree that everyone has been towny. But I have been towny too and in the eyes of people actually trying to read me, more towny than the rest of the game. And if you're just going to write that off even though a lot of the towniness comes from the posts of a person who is not!me who doesn't have the same scum skillset as I do, I can't stop you. But I can tell you it becomes my policy to Lynch you before midgame as town when I expect to survive. I already do it as scum because it saves effort but if you going after me as town is going to be inevitable at some point in the game it become the correct play for me to Lynch you.

Keep in mind math and everyone else that when you talk about ways to deal with me you ignore my own point of view trying to optimize: if I'm going to have a 1v1 as town I know I'm town so me losing is always suboptimal. Thats on top of the ripple effect where if I allow myself to be seen losing 1v1s it gives people the confidence to force them with me: town or sxum. So yeah it sucks that it hurts my team when people freak out and tunnel me, but there isn't actually a better option for me. The person who has the choice to make is the one who has to decide if going after me is the right play.

- In a Micro, SK + 2 groupscum is a lot of scum power. This is especially true when town doesn't have real protection, is powerless to stop the kills (ala roleblocker), 1 of them is 1 shot immune to investigations (powerful in a short game like a Micro with 2 kills), and member that can just die D1 unrelated to either kill.
- An Amne cop is a great way to hunt for that for scum and town, and the purpose of Amne is to provide the result to town so scum can't just keep it hidden. The role makes sense design wise.
- The only two roles claiming to be knowingly affected by Postie's healing are RT and Kiana. This makes awesome sense from a design standpoint: either you save the town PR but vanillize him, or you let the town PR die but you massively buff another town PR. The only counterpoint to this was an early "scum were given fakeclaims", which they weren't.
- Lie detector and amne cop are close to counter claims. Both are basically cops. 1x LD is stronger because you can parity cop two people and etc, but they don't really fit together. Don't get why people didn't mention that way earlier.
- viewtopic.php?f=23&t=74171 - viewtopic.php?f=56&t=73578 - viewtopic.php?f=84&t=73043 having multiple actions in one night is nothing unheard of in Alisae games, and most of her JOATs can perform multiple but not unlimited. Saying someone getting vanillized conftowns Cheeky is garbage play and how you gamethrow doing garbage setup spec.
- Amne cop helps with SK /or/ creates a conftown, both of which are good for balance. Vanillize cripples a town role, perfect if you're copping someone. You want to talk about sketchy night actions? Cheeky amne copped Maki the same night they were vanillized... they did the exact same thing people are giving Gamma slot a bunch of shit over.
- Copping + vanillizing one target makes you watcher safe, tracker safe, and means you either vanillized the conf town you just created for your fake claim. Who knows, maybe the action is vanillizing cop, though I doubt it. Irrelevant.
- "She didn't try to take towncred for the cop!!" is not a valid response. She was never run up. What possible reason does a cop and by consequence a scum cop ever have to claim that they're a cop before they're l-1?

Part 3: Cheeky Scumcase

- My 2226 is a good extract, but look at their ISO next to Mulch. It is obvious SvS. Like, insanely so. To quote my own analysis,
- 1) every mulch and cheeky interaction is lighthearted and weak. there's no real "interaction", its all extremely surface level
- 2) cheeky has mulch as their top scumread and is barely on the wagon early game, and its hard to get a sense of time because i wasnt here but it looks like they only voted mulch late into d2 and mulch selfvoted soon after so it was very likely organized
- 3) cheeky did a fuck ton of buddying of rc, which makes sense because of their personal relationship and his controlling persona
- 4) mulch was setting cheeky up to endgame; had them as lock town, the whole ita shenanigans, etc
- 5) why would cheeky claim the amne cop result? a town wouldn't, it would be insulting to them to suggest scum!them would. you just attract a roleblock or a nightkill as town, so scum faking that role wouldn't claim it unless l-1d either.
- 6) notice how they chainsaw? rc scumreads cheeky so mulch discredits rc meanwhile cheeky pockets rc, hits it from both sides. mathdino pushes parallel etc
