I'm thinking it might actually be more interesting to let this game run to deadline, and have the spy guess the location. He'd have a much harder time guessing the location then us the spy... and if the spy knew what the location was, he would have come forward already...

I still believe the best strategy here is simply not voting. Force the spy to guess. It's not gonna be an easy guess.
If we majority vote, the game ends. We either win right there and then, or we lose. If we vote wrong, the spy doesn't get to guess, he just outright wins.

Pushing the wrong vote will make the spy win.

Am I reading this wrong?

yeah, I'm right. If we guess wrong, spy auto wins. Let him have his guess.
If he outright knows the location already, he would have taken a guess.

UNLESS town is on the wrong lynch track, then he can just ride that 'lynch' to a victory

Only those aren't the rules for THIS game. If we take a wrong guess, it's game over. And I think we are too divided to take a chance, but that's personal opinion and all. If majority goes Aronis, I can dig that. Nobody else earns my vote, however.
