(In case anyone was wondering. A fair share of my modding practices in this game are personal pet peeves of mine when it comes to the way moderators handle their games. PTs NOT being linked in the game thread with only a generic "PTs have been released" announcement, ordering votes chronologically rather than having the largest wagon on top, being lazy about Not Voting and just calling it "Everyone else" rather than listing names, etc. I hate those things with a fucking passion and consider them poor moderation practice, so I just HAD to include them in this game. )

BUT.
At least you know EVERYTHING about the game going into it; there will be absolutely no surprises whatsoever because all the mechanics are laid out in advance so you know precisely what you're in for.

Yeah--there were many things I could have done which would have made the modding, strictly speaking, be worse than it already was...

...But I tried to give this game at least some

semblance

of being playable. Refusing to answer questions when I knew that this game had some incredibly unfriendly mechanics that were poorly visible would have been worse modding--MUCH worse. It'd also kill the game altogether.

Part of being the game moderator for this game was attempting to find the best possible overall balance of delivering the promised mechanic of the theme (worst game ever), and yet also maintaining the integrity of it still being a GAME. There were a lot of things players asked me about that I ended up turning down--people who were VTs asking to perform actions, people not in the game wanting to post, people who were dead wanting to post, people who were dead wanting to replace back in (although I was tempted to allow this), and so on and so forth.

I hope I ended up delivering the balance between the two intended.

Gunsmiths never get a 'has a gun' result on doctors; it's literally written into the wiki that mafia doctors have no guns! (Incidentally, this is the only way to get a cop-godfather interaction in a Normal. Mafia Doctors are allowed, and Gunsmiths are allowed, but Godfathers aren't.)

town never won this--in addition to being insanely scum sided, scum played really well.

I wouldn't call it insanely scumsided--town had what amounted to FOUR investigative roles, even if two of them produced bodies on townies...which in of itself was self-confirming. Scum had one counter for said roles, and a safeclaim to help, but were largely vulnerable. (Scum also, by virtue of having two of the same role and having the disloyal modifier, were warned about the nature of town roles so they wouldn't be fucked over by...saaaaaaaaaaaay. Claiming a role with no duplicate, like hider. )

They also started in the dark just as much as town did in regards to mechanics. This game goes entirely differently with Ginngie as town.

It also goes differently if you actually lynch the guilty result you had. (Especially when given sound logic that town roles had duplicates and yet the hider claim was solo.)

Also, terrible games don't necessarily mean no Scummies can be given based off of them--for instance, Ellibereth's performance in this game DID notably nail the entire scumteam on D1 so from this game you could hypothetically use it to back a nomination for Paragon of Mafia Hunters.
