Iconeum's push on BuJaber seems weak and phony. It basically comes down to "you didn't stop and rewrite your post to avoid possibly being read as scum for the contradiction" -- which, IMO, is a reason to point to Bu being TOWN, not mafia. Town doesn't have to go through that extra layer of thought because they aren't trying to hide who they are -- Mafia do. Would love to hear a response to this. The rest of Iconeum's stuff feels null at worst.

These are still weak reads but I'd go for:

Lovebird -- Still slightly pinged by that early and unnatural-seeming townread, and from her ISO. There's a lot of activity there but it doesn't read like scumhunting to me. It just looks like pecking (hah) at various things without enough reasoning for me to tell why.
ZZZX -- Mainly because his defensiveness is apparently not genuine and I question if that's town-motivated. Although if this is standard for him as you say, then I guess it may be NAI.

That's only two but that's all I've got here. Major Minor's 98 pings me slightly in ways I can't really put to words (too detached, I guess?) but that could be posting style for all I know. I don't scumread him in general yet.

I guess the theme drawing me towards Lovebird / ZZZX is "doesn't seem genuine". I'd rather see a lynch on that basis than on the basis of things that might just be playstyle and not really AI.

I consider insincerity in posts to have much more direct bearing on alignment because scum cannot be sincere by nature (they're not in the game to hunt scum). That's why, for instance, I question your really early townread, because I feel it's more natural for a townie to start a game feeling suspicious and looking for scummy behavior from other players (at least from my own experience) than to start off by townreading people. That, and there's a scum motive in throwing out an early townread that seems stronger than the likelihood that a townie would do the same. But you gave a reasonable explanation for it and that mostly mollified my initial scumread.

Iconeum is a town read for me, primarily because it seems like his pressure on BuJaber is motivated by trying to sort him and it seems like his reads are appropriately responding to what happens -- for instance, after we got clarification on BuJaber's pool logic, Iconeum accepted it and stopped pushing that piece. He doesn't seem like an especially strong game solver, but he does seem to be trying to reason through his reads at least.

Based on the re-read thus far I'm more inclined now to lynch Ico than BuJaber, as a red Ico flip would make Bu much less likely to be scum and make Love look more likely to be scum. It helps that my scum read of Bu is a little weaker now.
Re-reading Lovebird's early posting has reminded me why I scum read that slot, and I'd be down for a compromise lynch there as well, even if her D2 posting has been a bit better overall.

Why would he fake-claim doc? If he's scum trying to draw out a PR, it is the cop that he needs outed today so his partner can shoot them at night. A VT claim might allow him survive if he sways people away from his lynch. A doc claim is the worst of both worlds. He guarantees that he's going to get lynched when he ultimately gets cc'd AND the scum still don't know who the cop is to shoot tonight. So, I'm not really expecting a cc at this point.

Just how it feels. I know he's town if nobody ccs. Just, that was my biggest scumread for a while now.

I forget now honestly. Looked back and it was probably soft scumreads or pushes of eachother but not much threat of being lynched, or just awkward interactions. Distancing.

I don't understand why you found Raskol suspicious (I'm talking about your 409). He voted Cheeky and called her scum with or without Not_Mafia. I'm not sure how the post you quoted translates to him giving up or being more likely to be scum. If you are talking about what you said in 402 (that Rask was there but didn't post), that's a pretty weak reason to switch from a viewpoint of Icon being lockscum with BuJaber as a likely partner to suddenly demanding a claim from Rask. That fits in more with scum trying to get as many claims out as possible.

The problem with this is that throughout D1 you haven't actively tried to persuade people that Iceoneum was scum. Most of the time you talked about him was in response to people questioning your read/vote. I need a little more from you here. How are Iconeum's post "empty?" What is the scum motivation in his posts? I sort of skated over this because I thought you were seeing similar things that I was but now that I think he's most likely not scum, I want to see you explain the read in your own words.
