varsoon's claim is constistant given that all negative abilities were rb'd today. I don't get that point. Venmar can prove himself when scum kill him tonight, which theoretically could only be blocked by him, or another scum teams negative abilitiy. But why the hell scum would want to leave venmar around is beyond me. Perhaps only for bullshit wifom with titus' slot. Although, I still don't understand why both can't be scum, town, or a combo of the two.

Notable that hebichan and mollie (and to a much lesser extent UT) both locktowned me on D1 but have since moved me into nullpool/lynchpool without explanation, now that 2 potential votes on me died at night.

This is really icky. I feel like both wagons today are scum-driven. I'll obviously vote a nullread again to save myself again (unless Gamma has provably positive town utility), but this is getting kind of ridiculous.

I've been playing with my cards close to my chest for while now trying to catch scum, but its not been very useful as of yet. Cards on the table.

Venmars original argument on dino was weak as crap, and semi borrowed from cooldog. I've been watching venmar most of yesterday, and it was also the reason for my hesitance on dino. When dino started his role explanation I started scum reading dino and town reading venmar because it didnt make sense for scum venmar to be pushing scum dino (i know scum can do this, but I didnt see it here)

When the day dawned and we had 2 dead my first thought was maybe venmar v dino was scum v scum, just opposite teams. It helps to explain venmars unrelenting scum read on dino, but it doesn't really explain dino town read on venmar (I think scum!dino would play that differently... but maybe I'm thinking too much about how _I_ would play it)

At the moment I'm theorizing Venmar is a 3rd party who probs has a win condition of having to use all their abilities.
Edit: No hes not, if that were the case he could just silently use them every night.

No. I just think you didn't expect a CC due to lurkers or that your role needed claiming to sell. I don't think you are a bad player at all. Claiming lightning rod is a strategy I used relatively effectively years ago as a scum lightning rod.
