As for voting reasons, they are what I said. You entered the game by jumping on a wagon without any game advancing content. That gets a vote everytime.
My defense is faltering! Grasps for straws, ensign!

So me and Alex did the same thing. Why not vote him. It gets a vote everytime.

See, this is basic psychology, something that I said or did struck a nerve. I'm inclined to think it was me voting you and making you the leading wagon. It's why you didn't really react strongly to NSG or rb, but you did to me.

I've got to do the dishes. Be back soon. Much love, Lexa.

mafia skill is relatively static because it relies a lot on individual personality and thinking patterns, moreso than experience which just helps you understand mechanics or meta people.

Also Cedricks main account will be at least a few months old (over 6) because hes thrown out about half a dozen mafiascum buzzwords in seamless conversational tone, with the right context and application.

hes not new to mafiascum at all

So explain it.

This seems an absurd reaction to the chain of events, and since Cedrick is denying any revealing how old his account is, you can just say what you were going for.

Typical mafia game in Australian timezone: wake up to 5 pages of game before work, 5 more pages while AT work, finish work, read, post - everyone's gone.

Well i'm townlean on Luca Blight anyway, but I'm curious what other people think.

My thoughts: They seem town. Not a lot to work with...only 4 posts, but a slight tr atm.
I'm moving from slot to slot until I'm satisfied with either my read on it, or that I'll need more content before I can sort them.

Luca Blight
Cedrick

Lexa
Northsidegal

Mumbles

Leaning town on Cedrick at this point, I think Mumbles is scum and I think Lexa/North are likely but still thinking. If I had to lynch in succession I'd lynch Mumbles/Lexa/North

In post 276, Alexcellent wrote:So my thoughts on the whole Lexa thing -

She likes Awoo's case on numberQ, votes for numberQ, but then shortly after abandons that endeavour in a kneejerk reaction to Mumble's vote? When I was initially skimming, I figured dropping a vote on Lexa right after Mumble would be good for a laugh and to see how she reacts to more pressure. Don't really like the 1v1 between Mumble and Lexa. I don't understand the anger there on Lexa's part, but then I don't really have any meta to go on with her. Maybe worth checking out some of her old games. But I don't like , trying to dismiss pressure I generally find to come from scum more than town IMO. And I don't like the jump from Mumble to me. As Awoo mentioned it does appear like Lexa comes across as being cornered into that vote. I don't really like leaving Mumble with the reason that scum wouldn't be so obtuse. Sounds like a phony excuse to get out of a vote that you regret. And moving to someone that's basically inactive doesn't seem to serve much purpose.

I just dislike that Lexa appears to have viewed the most scummy thing in the game to that point as being a few empty votes and it makes me think she had no real reads or nothing to gon before. Granted its early still but I felt more relevant things happened than Mumble and I voting her. And the way she reacted to the votes is pretty bad. I'm keen to see how she responds to her wagon though.

I feel like Mumble vs Lexa is TvS, so the current wagons are interesting.
Why is Mumble vs Lexa TvS, and not say, TvT?

@Cedrick - my vote on you at the time was more just not really feeling the Lexa wagon, and you were the only other player I'd been suspicious of, since I hadn't really paid much attention to many players yet. I moved the vote pretty soon after once I found a better scumread.

I'm not entirely sold on you town but I think there's multiple other players more likely to flip scum, which at the time I vote you that wasn't the case.

lexa does it at all bother you that your top2 townreads (papa zito and alex) are on a wagon you think is terrible (cedrick)?

because they're my top2 townreads and i think this wagon is good, but your perspective doesn't make sense really since you're not engaging the players who're your top2 reads to try and get them to sync up with you? like wot

the whole thing about 'waiting for answers' is just pointless fluff

she's barely even given opinions or tried to sort anyone, just asks meandering questions and then meanders about the answers

then goes low activity once all pressure on her is gone. she stayed active for as long as it took to not be a viable lynch for the day, then she decided to be inactive and stop scumhunting

he had a line of reasoning, it was believable - i actually liked it and this sudden 180 that happens right after someone accuses them of basically tunneling? it's wtf to me

abandoned their strongest read, with no explanation, seemingly at the first sign of serious dissent over their direction in the game. it's a huge change of behaviour where before awoo was cocky and talkative, backed up their ideas with reasoning (whether you agreed or not, you can't deny they had thoughts behind their play) and now it's kinda just gone flat.

no, it is disappearing from the game a bit after i subbed in that's bad. if he's scum, his push got squashed by a strong player who wasn't going to get mislynched subbing in. it's disengaging from the game that's bad.

But it's quite true, no?

Sometimes people act or play in ways that are truly hard to read, and saying that you're gut reading someone through their weird play doesn't seem fence-sitty so much as it feels like honesty.

I have null reads too, or people I can't quite get a handle on and I often 'chunk' the playerlist down to people whose behaviour I feel I can read (as either town or scum) and players I can't - and I don't talk much of the ones I can't until I have to, and I hope others with a different perspective can read that particular player better than me.

Some people talk about ALL slots though, and those that do will naturally seem less confident, because they're talking more about hard to read slots.

I often come across as really confident, but that's a symptom of the fact that I talk only about the slots I'm more confident reading while I let other slots 'evolve' internally.
