mine only checks people with spellcards

my alignment check is actually a little limiting
firstly i need to survive to night three to use it
then i'm limited to only using it on people who have already used their spellcards
if only one person has a spellcard left i'm pretty sure i can't actually use it at all
then if i investigate two town or if i guess which one is town wrong, i crush one of their spell cards

his alignment check unlocks itself far earlier but is also limited in a similar way, because it only invests people without a card therefore it gets stronger as more people use cards
mine unlocks itself far later but can only invest people with cards and therefore gets weaker as more people use cards

The role just sounds like bogus to me sorry - it feels significantly more powerful than the balance of the other spellcards we know of so far

Seems like the main utility we have in cards is
a. Vote count trickery (we have Kats role as an example and the fact that fg is intentionally distancing votecounts, I doubt that'd be for just one role)
B. The status of whether somebody has or hasn't used their spell card, and also crushing said spellcards
(Dunn can cop cardcrushed players, elbirn can crush a players card, I can cop two players with cards and crush one)

But apart from that it doesn't take a fuckin genius to think out that later stage roles are more powerful

Chiming in here to say that I don't see anything wrong with HS's claim, I fully expect that some mechanics are present in multiple spellcards, and the vig is stage 1 for a reason.
