This is an intriguingly balanced EV for a standard game size. Does anyone have issues with me running this setup to try out how it goes?

I suspect it might have problems getting players. Also, there's "entertainment swing" in that if the vig dies early, the rest of the setup is likely to drag out and become rather tedious. (Even more so than a 267-player setup normally does.) So I doubt it's an ideal fit for the site.

Are they still more accurate when you take into account the fact that they necessarily won't shoot themself? (I'm guessing yes, but that's an obvious factor that you need to control for in the statistics.)

A simple way to see how having the vig is better is that instead of not vigging, you can just get town to vote on the vig kill. That makes it more or less equivalent to a lynch (except that if the vig themself is voted as the vig target, they can shoot someone else, thus giving town a bit more of an edge).
