Signing up for this game was probably the worst mistake of my life...

Thought: if your hydra busting power truly exists then that confirms Eldritch as town right? I mean, if it is scum then we lose the game by busting it as it has pointed out. That would be completely fucking stupid if you're 1 ability just ends the game. I know this supposed to be the worst game ever but I'm assuming the mod wants there to be multiple days that the game can be shit across. Hence, I am highly doubtful that Eldritch could be scum.

Though, of course, any of these could counter that:

- You're lying about having the ability.
- Your ability doesn't work.
- Each player in Eldritch is given a random role or alignment upon being bust - though this would suggest that Eldritch in its current form is town otherwise there'd be townies who know who some scum is.


So, unless any of those are proven to be true, I am going to treat Eldritch as confirmed town - because if it isn't, there's fuck all I can do.

Mutant: suspicious; claims that they will coast on other's opinions of us. Allow for finger pointing evasion when we flip because "lol. Don't look at me; I was just following this player's opinion." or "I'd said I do this. WIFOM would scum announce stuff like that?"

Well... I just spent 5 minutes feeling like I was going insane because I thought the mod may have deleted one of my posts as I was sure I had asked _schadd a question. But then I realised I decided against asking _schadd the question because it was about posts he made before the game officially started.

So now I'm paranoid the mod might start deleting posts so this is me just generally saying be careful of that because it's probably a possibility this game.

I feel like people were taking both themselves and others less seriously during pregame which makes the stuff said there less reliable in my opinion. I feel like a lot of what was said (at least, a lot of what I read) was pure sh*tposting and jokes.

Though the more I think about it the less sense that makes since, as pointed out, people had their role cards by then.

Clarification is needed for what you mean by hunch but if you mean my wanting to ask him questions about those votes then I didn't really get a read from 2 naked votes. They just struck me as odd 'tis all. Based on his replies just now, still null. I can see the logic behind his answers but they don't indicate alignment in the slightest.

Not really, I haven't re-read it yet and I didn't pay too much attention the first time around. I'll probably re-read it in the form of ISOs to get reads somewhen within the next 48 hours. Right now I'm responsive but not invested yet because of stuff I'm doing irl + other game(s).

Town read on Vaxkiller for actually scum hunting but @Vax may I ask what you reason was for pretending to have a hydra busting ability?

Also town read on NSG partially for the same reasons on Vax but also gut reading this a little.

Scum lean on Varsoon. He called for us to play seriously a fair few times but hasn't actually produced any real content himself - it's all fluff and jokes.

Well... The worst thing that could happen is that you pop us open and have 11 scum - assuming the individuals dissolve into the alignment and or role that we the cosmic hydra possess.

It doesn't say it anywhere. This head has been keeping track. Before Golden, mutant, and yourself confirmed we had 7 players who had confirmed this far.

It's weird that you even mentioned this. I would think your reaction should be of joy due to getting close to twice the # of town we had and making it pretty much auto win with confirmed townies.

I mean it would decide the game either way it went, but possessing that ability should confirm my alignment, I'm not sure where mutantdevle was going with post 165.

Here we go. I mean we are arguing about a theoretical role that will NEVER happen due to it's unfairness.... but:

How would it not?

Scum knows who scum are. (unless your arguing traitor or something)
If scum had the ability to use it on town, they would lose the game.
If scum had the ability to use it on scum they would win the game.
Having it as a scum role is like 100% stupid due to the above.

On the other hand town doesn't know who is town or scum, so them having the role is alot more fair because when the use the ability they don't know if they are throwing the game or winning the game.
