No, I took that into account. Was one of the reasons my opener was vote-mastina rather than vote-Ginngie. (Another being that I had planned the entrance since before I even knew you were in the game, so.)

I don't quite have the words to explain it. But basically. Pine let that happen last game and he almost lost as a direct consequence of it--yes, he ultimately won the game but that was something only possible after extenuating circumstances; we placed him at a severe disadvantage BECAUSE he didn't try to shut this effort down. (Well, rather, he did try to recruit you, just got the wrong person.)

I always learn from my mistakes, yes--but so too does Pine. He is not going to play the same exact way he did last game as in this game. His overarching methodology won't change. Pseudo-random pick, wifom pick, strategic pick, at minimum. Heavier emphasis on the strategy. But he isn't going to let a dangerous townbloc form which he can't shut down.
