Because in Australia it's relatively easy, and i don't think Riot are getting access to the names behind the numbers.

Prepaying $20 bucks to smurf in LoL is pretty desperate and easy but unlikely.

It's as cheap as $2 in Australia, not only that, but i personally have 3 phone numbers anyway (one for a modem, one for a phone, and one for a work phone.)

I only started losing interest in the game back when ranked teams were deleted..
I was wondering whether Clash (if implemented properly) would be able to re-ignite some of that flame I used to have for the game.

My thoughts on clash:

This beta weekend was pretty clunky and I'm hoping that between trial and error in team building and the matchmaking system's self correction that is (supposedly) in place will make the matchmaking better. I also hope that riot will do more proactive prevention of smurfs being in clash. If those two things fall into place, I think it could be a solid option and would actually fix the issues with ranked 5s. At the very least, even if you bomb out 0-2 every time you play. You at least get a free xp boost which gives you the potential to break even on tickets.

I think "scouting" is an abject failure and if you care you're much better served going to op.gg. The only time scouting is effective is on one tricks, playing on their primary account and their primary role, like sleepy crew.

I wish Riot was more inclined to give details on how matchmaking works, so people can more actively defend themselves from people gaming the system, but I understand theirs a fear people would use that to more efficiently game the system.

Bad: Thresh is still garbage so I've resorted to onetricking Nami (62% winrate is pretty legit)
