as much as i dislike this post it feels like town penguin

Penguin had a moment of weakness on his scum read of me in 182. I find it strange that he hasn't moved his vote from me whilst continuing to be active in the thread. I dislike that he asked for my fire read but did nothing with it, like asking for the sake of asking rather than evaluating Fire and I from it.

@Tbone I'm a reaction tester/intent reader. I find it hard to get good reads when I'm disconnected. Also each time I let the thread breathe it slows down to an unproductive level. I don't see the harm in trying to generate real game content. I also don't get why you find the need to take a teaching stance with me. As you can tell I'm far from insecure and I feel I'm a pretty effective town player, it just feels like you're trying to shut me up and discredit me each time we interact and I don't see the town intent in going about it the way you are. I agree with most of this. The defense wasn't sudden, I feel his town read on me so early was pretty bs too. Rather than sudden I'd say "oddly timed" - which was when he initially believed I had been lynched. His quick "oh yeah she is at L-2" post implies he did think I was hammered when he started harping on about "bad lynch, gamma next" and then the somewhat believable defense. I've had my misgivings from the start when I believe he town read me too early in a somewhat contradictory manner.

If Fire is scum, Gamma looks conf town and NSG/Hyung look much worse. I don't know what to make of the Reck v Fire thing that just happened though. Still processing, but it's possible SvS.

Wow I'm flattered. Yes I'm towning it up not to get lynched because I'm town and I needed to give myself the image of low hanging fruit to get this game going.

The problem I have with you is that you started a case on me already when I was going to replace, I don't see how looking to check if my reads were pulled out of my ass or not does anthing to genuinely progress your read on me. It felt like you already had your mind made up about my alignment but are trying to project an air of objectivity which I don't think exists in your approach. That said, I don't think this behavior necessarily comes from scum given my behaviour so O_O...

I never said it was hard. I prefer dictating how our engagement is going, it's much easier gauging you this way than me going "oh I did it for x reason"

But since your entire read seems to hinge on this - the context was TBone pushing me/being waffly early on so when Reck stuck his neck out saying he was lynching TBone day end I found that incredibly townie as he was either reaction testing TBone, or seeing his approach to me as scummy, which I also saw at that point.

What made it townie enough for me to overlook him was the perspective of why would scum him do that? I saw no benefit for scum to lock themselves into a lynch at day end. I've since posted about my thoughts on Recks progression regarding Tbone and he's responded so feel free to factor those interactions into your read as well.

TBone don't try to understand what I do it'll save both of us a headache. To answer your question, maybe? I don't set out intentionally to preserve my scum game. I only have 2 scum games on site and the meta from each is completely different so I feel my town playstyle is just a result of how I try to read people in a game. I think it's easier to catch scum on the back foot.

Your argument for me not answering Gooey is almost too surface level?

@TBone: Ok well I feel like you're both misunderstanding each other. I feel like Tbone is misunderstanding Brian more than vice versa. Tbone could have answered the points in Brian's case and shown how they were faulty instead of jumping on the delivery and saying points were false without really explaining how they were false. I agree that Brian looks scummier particularly when he "refused to read your wall" because it proved TBone's point about lack of objectivity in Brians push. In a way you're both guilty of trying to see the other as scum and overtalking one another.
