Ok to be clear. Why do we need to know that you will produce actual content when everyone has posted? Simple answer is that we don't need to know that and you're overly self aware about your need to contribute something real.

If I were to describe it I'd say more along the lines of 'I know I'm going to be a useless pile of garbage for the near future and want to reassure people that eventually I will give a fuck about the game', but I think I'm fairly self-aware about how I'm playing and how it's perceived by other people.

The way you phrased your question felt like you were trying to shade me instead of being genuine. "You only have x votes why do you care" is not an objective question imo and implies that you've already made up your mind about my intent, so no it didn't come across as a genuine, objective line of questioning. Secondly, how often does a player being defensive to a wagon mean the player is more likely to flip scum? The reasoning here is shallow and weak for a player of your status. Would it not make more sense for scum to not react at all to votes instead of questionning/assessing the votes on their wagon, bringing them further under the spotlight?

Second response: I've already said that it was a genuine question, so not sure what you're trying to get at here. We are obviously going to disagree on this point. Note: you did provide an answer to my "disingenuous" question. Of course my reasoning is weak...we're on page 8 (but thanks for the "player of my status" bit...I love my ego being stroked). It would have made sense for anyone to not react to the first few votes on their wagon...though I understand your point to further the game status.

I guess I just mean Tbone and Fire addressing how bad my content is (even jokingly) rather than trying to sort me from it. I feel like you're making similar a oversight. I'm sensitive to being called a VI because of other games and my opening here isn't particularly strong so I could see why people would PL me, which is what I assumed a vote based on no reason means in context.

You're oversimplifying, maybe I didn't express myself clearly. The argument went:

1. Penguin says a player asking if they're being PL'd for being VI is scummy. Cheeky's reaction to being wagoned was scummy.
2. Cheeky says she's sensitive to being a VI and a PL would make sense in context when no other reason is given for the vote.
4. Tbone says don't be sensitive early game.
5. Cheeky says she won't not coz that's who she is buts she's not getting lynched for it (By penguin).

Let's get some facts straight here. I was trying to start a meme, for the record, since it would have given the game as much meaning as the question you asked GooeyGamma (someone else was supposed to quote me and ask what the post means). Then you quoted me and freaked out.

Then you also made a statement about how you can't assess votes people don't give a reason for. So I quoted that post and voted for a random player.

I don't like it when people post things for the sake of posting. That was like, your entire ISO up to that point. It isn't about you being new, or the fact that I have a green name so I somehow think I am superior to all you plebs (this isn't Team Mafia, after all). It is about content that I perceive to be empty, and thus, I'm going to mock it every single time.

Maybe you did it because you are insecure about your own abilities as a player. Maybe you did it because you are scum and you feel like "this is what town-me should do." I don't know.

At no point did I ever make a judgment about your alignment (or anyone else's for that matter). At no point have I suggested we lynch you.

Be the player you want to be, if you're town I want you to be your best.

At the same time, I think you should have the awareness to let other players be who they are at the moment. Let the game come naturally. Don't be that guy who has to react to everything as some sort of slight against them.
