A 15 person uPick game under the Geriatric Ruleset!

In this game, you will submit to me a mainstream pop artist from the last 20 years with at least one Top 10 hit!
In response, every player in the game will get a role back with 3 one-shot abilities derived from that artist's hits.
Aside from the one shot abilities, every player will be otherwise a vanilla version of their role.

Once those 3 shots are used, you're out of shots!
Players will only flip as their role name and alignment. Shots will not be revealed upon death.

Having played in Micro 768, I don't think it is the ruleset that is the problem or that geriatric games are going to be inherently full of lurkers.

I think the amount of lurkiness in Micro 768 was more because:
- the mod was not enforcing prods
- there was one slot that was constantly not posting for days at a time, and that slot was not being replaced

if you did that, more policies would go through. nobody is going to policy lynch for one game. it's only beneficial if it's a recurring theme, which it isn't.

Well, the overall problem is that pushing for policy lynches is viewed as a scummy move. Policy lynches tend to always be on town because mafia know who is who and can push policy lynches to achieve their win condition without raising suspicion.

To fix this there needs to be an out of game punishment. If someone is town and they prod-dodge and lurk all game then they should be considered to be "not playing towards their win condition" and get some sort of meta punishment if it's continuous.

I HAVE told Mulch to fuck off before. This was never a question of his character, or of my opinion of him. You brought that question back into the thread.

You pulled quotes from months ago instead of answering my question. There wasn't a single post he made after I opened the thread again for discussion, that was trolling, harassing, disrespectful, or otherwise toxic.

I asked for discussion. Mulch provided a reasonable viewpoint. You, among others, shot back with personal attacks that derailed it again, rather than even addressing the discussion. That is what turned this into a fight.

And if you're upset about this being turned into a debate, again, you should be mad at me, because I've been discussing the townsided/scumsided debate for the past few pages now. The ruleset is vulnerable to inactive mods and inactive players, and appears to be MORE vulnerable than average games on MS. That was the topic.
