I'm not too far, but this game is basically:

If neutral try and immunize others you think to be neutral still. Try and find cult leaders so someone can vig them.
If cult try and immunize people who are already in your cult. Try to find the other cult leader so someone can vig them.
If cult leader recruit like a mad man/woman/person. Immunize people already in your cult. Try to find the other cult leader so someone can vig them.

-People should not advocate for themselves because it is at best anti-town and at worst cultish behavior.
-Neutrals thoughts on who might be cult leaders will be 100% true, while cult members/leaders thoughts will only be half true.

Is there anything else I should know?

Because advocating for oneself and NOT getting immunized would make you a likely recruit for cults.

Also, im not caught up on recent events, but Vecna is willfully trying to end the phase before we get votes for immunization? So hes prob in a cult?

Ok im bored and im just gonna hardclaim. I was culted two days ago. My cult has been playing truely dreadfull (like absolutely total shit), even with how the survivors have been playing were only 3 man large.

My cultleader is lifhtrasil, and we just trolled you all bigtime.

Cerberus was his first recruit, and he's just been giving him all kinds of bad advise, resulting in failed recruit after failed recruit.

Isn't this a mod killable offense? Probably only if it's true.. so it just gives us info!

I think Vecna might be a cult leader and is bored.

I've been thinking about this most of the day. Does town make this joke? I don't think so. If I were going for a joke I would claim cult leader. Claiming cult just puts the idea in everyone's head that Vecna is anti town, but not the person who needs killed necessarily (we need to kill cult leaders) which would put him in a great position if he were the cult leader.

Maybe I'm conf biasing, but I really like my theory, not that there is anything I can do about it. I'm going to think about this more tho.

Like, I would really like to play an accelerated version of the game (2-3 Days play 1 day pause with the highest majority of players on a wagon gets the immunization) but I'm not sure if everyone else is interested.

I might be in a different boat being a cult leader but I liked the setup for the most part. I can see from a non-leader point of view this game being kinda difficult. Before recruitment you COULD (if you wanted to) try and discourage your recruitment, but in the back of your mind I wouldn't want to do too much in case you do get recruited. It's almost like playing to 2 wincons. Once recruited, if you have no abilities... then what? Probably lurk out, pretended to be a little town to try and convince the other team to recruit you I guess.

As far as my play is concerned, Vecna kept pushing the idea of Cult PT's, so I rolled with it. In the beginning I actually thought he was part of the cult and he knew there were no PT's and was fishing for the other cult members. I replaced in having 1 member under me and I tried my best, but ultimately I would have lost. I really thought Screen was the other cult leader and I tried to kill him (my one and only vig) which only made me farther behind in recruits. I recruited chick hoping they were lying about the amount of vigs they had... but no such luck!

Reading the spectator chat made me realize the game was designed in a way where we are supposed to ask questions to the mod in order to have a better understanding of how everything worked. I didn't realize that. It's an interesting concept, a game that can be slowly figured out by asking the mod setup/role speculation/questions, but I wasn't aware that this was encouraged, (usually this is discouraged) Also it didn't help that I've only seen the movie once, 20+ years ago, and I think it was just on in the background. I don't remember much of it.
