Civ was a good theme IMO. The only bad themes I remember are nexus and MLS

civ was a good theme

id argue nexus was a great theme that was just messily executed. the blizzard universe has so many characters to pull from

Tbh DBZ might be my fav game I've participated in because of how dynamic the strategy was. Really good swaps, great theme(imo), good cast/characters, and that all facilitated interesting strategy

Alternate idea: a mafiascum-themed Survivor game (along the lines of MS Fantasy Camp on the Mafia side).

We should probably each have experience as a comod first, though.

i still kind of want to do fire emblem but that requires me to have the thought process "modding a survivor game is a good idea" which is a relatively rare thought process for me to have

I’ve hit the point where if I want to play a game, theme isn’t going to matter one way or the other. With my schedule not being wonderful anymore there’s only so much I can actually play and theme isn’t gonna restrict me even more.

The issues with Nexus thematically were almost all Diablo-related

MLS as a theme would have been better if I didn't make it FM and had people pick players, IMO. I didn't expect people to have such a hard time with places >.>

i refused to sign up for Nexus because The Lost Vikings is the only good Blizzard game and the mods hogged them for some stupid reason

granted this was before I really cared about playing in LSG's and I would probably have signed up for it in this day and age

Do I REALLY suck? That's up to you to decide.

Retiring from LSG's and Mish Mash, for the most part. If you want to contact me, I suggest going outside and enjoying what the world has to offer, instead.

Definitely DID suck, in the end...Probably.

this is such a wild concept to me.

the only complaint i could see that for would be like... mixing up tyrael/auriel because they're both angels
zeratul/karass were both protoss but they looked really different

We could do something like the "Be somebody else" mafia game that Mathdino and Northsidegal recently modded in which everyone takes the ID of a fellow LSG-er
