From my research, ancient Latin had no capilisation. Modern Latin does, and hence the capitalisation used doesn't actually follow any specific rules - it tends to just follow the rules which the writer chooses to use.
On one hand we are a forum in English, so it would likely follow English rules ("Deus ex Machina" where "ex" is lower case due to meaning a word we'd keep lower case I suppose). However, a lot of people (with fair justification) argue that, since Latin itself is strongly rooted in mainland Europe (especially Rome) that it should follow European/Italian grammar rules (in the case of titles, only first word capital e.g. "Deus ex machina")
Basically both sides have merit except all caps "Deus Ex Machina" because the "ex" being capitalised is kinda wrong in both and also ugly tbh I dislike the visuals when (non-I) short words are capitalised in titles, it looks bad.
I'd need 2 titles in exchange for mine, it has too much sentimental value

In post 5741, Mathdino wrote:oh my god then no titles ever should be capitalised due to the rules of english
it's a title, that means you capitalise things
or should your title read "Khan man" because khan is the only proper noun/adjective
I'm sorry but you're objectively wrong. titles of things don't just capitalize every word. your movie analogy is just completely incorrect and bad. the title of the second
Avengers
movie is
Avengers: Age of Ultron
. the "of" isn't capitalized because it's a preposition. there are very simple set rules for how this works

Now that Haschel's posted in this thread, I'm reminded. Didn't Hashel get nominated for a title a bit over a year ago and make it through that process?
"Animorpherv1's posts are so powerful that prolonged exposure may cause vertigo, nausea, acute tinnitus, and in rare cases, death." - vonflare
wouldn't say that it actually made it through the process if it was never given, and kk isn't the title fairy
you can feel free to nom it again, if it stands the test of time and people agree with you it should get an overwhelming amount of support
but i honestly think it's lucky that the title didn't go through; now we have a chance to come up with something that's good
