been adjusting to my new job, forgot to check in here. moving this weekend but should have a few hours of internet time per day, i'm aware of deadline.
have sort of lost confidence in my Mark townread and i'm afraid of being wrong and him flipping scum. i wanted to see if i could have a discussion with him and regain my confidence one way or the other based on how he handles it but ended up not having the time.

for the record i still think Klazam is our best bet for scum. even if i'm wrong on Mark, and the last post isn't me saying i think i will be. just frustrated about falling out of activity here.

was Varsoon actually communicating? i keep seeing people assume that because he flipped mafia but brass was not actually killed in spite of Varsoon claiming he would take care of it.

i'm not sure. Joey is one of the few lockreads i've had consistently and i feel like toppling that could cost us the game if it's wrong. Thor simply being absent could be NAI, but you say you have meta on him and i don't so i'm less sure on that.

pedit: i mean. yes. Mark should have hammered Klazam if scum. if he didn't it's because he's town or because he just wasn't online. i wasn't here to see so i don't know which it is.
i have like half an hour and i don't think i could swing the vote anyway.

peditx2: Joey fakeclaiming Commuter is risky. and two different scumteams making the same decision to hide that they have religion spreaders?

i feel like i've come back to a completely different game. haha.

i just don't think he's scum. but there's no way i can justify no-lynching on that belief. blah. bad time to move. was supposed to have internet yesterday but god decided it wouldn't work until tonight instead.

scum Mark knows i have no choice but to lynch him here if he refuses to vote Klazam. it doesn't make sense to me except as some sort of ridiculous gambit.

lynching a scumread and being wrong is a much preferable feeling to lynching a townread and being right. even if they're the same for the game in the end. and if i wanted to i could refuse to lynch Mark and Ran would have to lynch Klazam or risk NL. so sort of get to decide, which sucks.

pedit: i don't think Ranmaru is scum here. but yes there'd be no reason for town Titus to protect then

town outplayed us, and i think there were some subpar night actions choices from both scumteams. personally i think i did well dodging investigations and protectives, but not taking out the IC when i had the chance on... i can't remember which night.

losing Creature, i wonder if i should have handled him differently, or bussed Dunker more forcefully instead of softly like i did. what i didn't expect was for him to die, that and accidentally killing Varsoon night 1 made that night the worst. i really thought i'd go quickly after my fellows.

i'd have to say Joey would have been the biggest thorn in how he managed to obvtown himself with a Commute were it not for the townread on me. i thought i would kill brass lategame and take Joey to lylo as my best shot.

the most difficulty i had was not knowing who the scum were. i was clueless aside from Titus's suspicious non-consecutive claim.
and Nero, i was surprised he stepped off. Ranmaru i was also worried about, i thought i might actually be able to win when he suddenly dove into his theories.

and sorry for killing you Almost. i didn't think you were mislynchable. it really had nothing to do with the religion spreader claims, i figured the orange spreader was in pidgey/marshy anyway.

hahaha, it's nice that you felt you wanted to apologize, but it's alright. bad luck for me, it happens. i'm happy with how i played.

speaking of bad luck, losing Joey was also a blow. didn't know what to expect from Nero. i was using Joey to keep my idea of the gamestate in shape. he was helpful.

choosing to kill Gamma when he'd claimed commuter perhaps wasn't the best choice, though. :>

the snooze autovote was comfortable and easy to play around. brass's reads weren't threatening at the time and i planned to kill him before lylo, since i knew he wasn't a PR. it also made predicting town night actions very easy.

at least, that's my justification. i figured investigatives would be on brass on any nights he wasn't publicly protected, so i was waiting for the PRs to out themselves.
i was also trying not to overlap kills with orange. i thought they'd take care of brass once he didn't have someone claiming a protection.
seeing Gamma claim he watched brass night 1 made me happy i held fire.

hindsight is of course 20/20, and i might have argued more in favour of protestant being the world religion (which might have saved my life, since brass didn't realize i was public about the conversion, not to mention he killed me with that religion), but with what i knew i don't think i would have made another decision. maybe i was too cautious.

having the strongman made me think i could auto-kill brass as soon as i was done trying to take out PRs.
