He deflected my question. He used his motivation to replace in a L-1 slot to answer my question, when i asked him i wanted to know if he was motivated to play considering his alignement/position. His pre-game motivation to replace-in is NAI obviously

Yes, I'm motivated to play. I think that's probably NAI for me though, but others are probably a better judge of that.

Klazam's interactions with Varsoon give me a buddy vibe. His D2 content consisted almost exclusively of tunneling Gamma, then defending Gamma. Doesn't seem interested in actually working things out. Very minimal engagement outside of a few people.

Not liking BuJaber at the moment. Late votes on lots of different bandwagons. Not sure if a buddy would try the 'If Creature is obvscum we should lynch them later' line though, so maybe only orange. Has very limited interactions with Varsoon but townreads him, which is consistent with the last multiball game I played with him where he was scum.

Will check on Pidgey and Chara next, Ran.

I don't think Chara is based on pushes against both Creature and Dunk. Only played with them once before where we were both town and the tone and posting style feels very similar, so probably wouldn't want to vote there at this point.

@Ran: Gut feeling on pidgey is Town. Reading through his content, I was feeling maybe red scum, probably not orange, but I don't think one scum team will have two religions, so pidgey is more likely Town than not.

Okay, let's see if we can summarize:

Ranmaru: On meta that feels like Town!Ran. He is fairly transparent when he is scum. Reasonably confident that he's Town.

Gamma: I'm a little suspicious of his vote on Ran today, since I feel it is fairly obvious that Ran is Town and I think these two have played together enough that Gamma ought to know it (and IIRC, Gamma did comment on this earlier in the game before Ran replaced out). I am having trouble reconciling his claim and Joda's in my head, which feel too similar to both be from Town (I have similar problems with the Doc/JK situation). His play seems reasonably consistent with what I have seen from Town!him before. Not going to vote for him today, but keeping an eye on him going forward.

Joda: Her claim feels to unusual and specific to be made up, so I'm inclined to believe that it's probably real, though not necessarily Town. Content level isn't high, but I like her tone and I think her reasoning regarding why she claimed upfront seems plausible to me. Leaning Town, probably moreso than Gamma.

A50: Claim is null beyond that I believe it. I like his tone and don't really get any red flags from his content. He seems notably more composed compared to when I played with him where he was mafia. Leaning Town here.

@A50: Why aren't you voting for pidgey (since you don't scumread marshy)? Do you think all three religion spreaders are Town? Also, what do you think about BuJ?

marshy/pidgey: Assuming that no mafia faction has two religions, then neither of these two can be red, and one of them (or A50, though I think that's less likely) is very likely scum. I don't get strong scum vibes from either one, particularly. D1 marshy compulsively busses his buddies, so the fact that he never jumped on that wagon points away from Orange!marshy. I guess of the three, I think pidgey is most likely orange mafia by PoE, but this isn't a particularly strong read.

Chara: Townreading on meta at the moment. Not red.

Klazam: I get some scummy vibes from this slot, particularly the rather myopic focus on Gamma in D2 and the very questionable claim. On the other hand, this is the only slot that Varsoon really pushed at all, so it's doubtful that Klazam is his buddy.

BuJaber: I don't believe scum would ever counterclaim a VT in the manner that BuJaber did.

OnTheMark: Tone is very townie, seems to be genuinely trying to get caught up and figure things out. Leaning Town at the moment. Having this claim plus a JK plus all the other PRs we've seen is a bit alarming, but it's not impossible if we've got high-powered scum, I guess.

Sharizo: I'm assuming that this claim is going to get verified through night results at some point, so haven't given a lot of thought to their content.

Joey: Tone looks very townie, obviously working toward solving the game.

Sticking with these as my best guesses for scum here. Looking back, I see that Kiana actually had most of the same reads (Klazam, Marshy, Gamma). I didn't consult her stuff at all when I was writing, so that's probably a good place to start for D4.

Might be instructive to see who started to counterwagon Kiana when she ended up at L-1 in D2. Wouldn't surprise me if orange scum was trying to help here there too.
